North Node Dynamics

Hi all, I've started a thread about this in the distant past but would like to revisit it. Still very curious about my nodes.

The dynamic involving my nodes actually begins in the 5th house with the moon. It rules my 11th house. My 11th is where the SN is.

The SN sits next to jupiter. Jupiter rules my 4th, where my north node house and north node rulers are, saturn and uranus. Saturn rules the 5th cusp, while Uranus rules the Node.

Meanwhile, the south node ruler, the Sun, trines the North Node.

So my south-node aspected jupiter rules my 4th + SN Ruler trining the NN. This is a weird and interesting dynamic and I would appreciate some input on it. Perhaps this shows that somehow settings from the past are actually part of/necessary to my future somehow, but this time I am "doing things differently"?

Plus I am reading contradictory nodal interpretations which treat both house and node as the same, because I have a North Node in Aquarius in the 5th house. According to most astrology blogs, I am "moving away from groups while becoming part of groups", or "avoiding the need for recognition while striving for recognition" if I take their descriptions of the nodes seriously, which is resulting in some real head-on-desk moments.

Thanks everyone.

The reply I wrote this morning got 'stuck' (also no smilies)and wouldn't paste after copying. A shorter reply now.

My nodal axis is in opposing houses to yours with same signs on house cusps.
Many Moons ago, a well-respected (now deceased) astrologer said of Cancer on 11th house cusp that it denotes 'feeling' differently towards situations that are of an impersonal nature. How would you relate to that?
Would you want to feel that you platonically relate (Air house)more, or less with those of like mind (11th house) with whom you interact?

Look in which sign natal Moon is situated. Does that help or hinder the 11th house realm in achieving its goal?

Jupiter is in Leo conjunct SN. It is the planet of expansion (of ideas) through its specialism in, and of (training) knowledge. In Leo it could show a (hereditary; ruler 4th house)trait of superiority or grandeur about it. OR, it sees it in others. How would you view yourself in that respect.?

Is it coincidence that ruler of Leo (and SN?) is Sun, which is in Libra, THE sign that is the first to be aware of others …. the not me.... living on the planet, and is able to make comparisons with and about them. Do you?
Sun makes positive aspects to the nodal axis.

I am reading contradictory nodal interpretations

Which are ideas to note but not necessary to follow. Only you know what and how you feel about the experiences you undergo, and whether there is meaning for you in them.
I personally don't believe that the nodal axis refers to a bridge to be crossed from one side to the other, but rather a bridge that connects both sides.
E.g. A teacher would be unable to show his skill without the pupils,
a doctor would study for nothing if he does not work with patients,
the local bus/tram driver would be out of a job without commuters,
the guide needs followers to carry out his work.

Leo is a leader, a director, an organiser. Can it not cross the nodal axis bridge carrying its particular skill for those to whom it is not attached by feelings but obectively committed, who would benefit from it?

You should post your astro.com chart so we can see your aspects. That's where the contradictions show themselves in the chart and open the floor for more discussion.

Also congrats on 5th house NN. Sounds like fun. A good way to cheat with your NN themes are to try to point out any themes you can remember from age 18-19, anything besides the normal things everyone does. Like if you went to college, what were your interests/feelings during that time? The 5th house is the freedom house, eating/cooking, romance/sex, childlike playfulness and children. Picture someone throwing paint on a wall drunk on their *** lol Careful with drug use of course but the 5th house is my favorite house.

If you come back with the astro.com chart I can help a little more
