Alexander Smirnov is the latest witness House Republicans chose whose credibility has been destroyed. Two weeks ago today he was arrested on federal charges including lying to the FBI about the very topic Comer and Jordan have based their entire impeachment investigation on: the debunked "Burisma" conspiracy theory. Smirnov has admitted, according to court documents, those claims were handed to him by Russian intelligence officials.

Woah. I just watched a clip of this interview on the evening news on Channel 4 with the Iranian Prime Minster.

tRump now admits (he lied under oath) that indeed, he does NOT have 400 Million dollars in liquid Cash that he said under oath he had last year in deposition. He now is begging the various judges and courts to be lenient with him, unlike every other tax payer in the State who comes before a judgement:

In a letter, the New York attorney general argued that here is no basis to grant the stay because Trump can automatically stay the judgment by securing an appeal bond. Trump’s legal team also has not notified the AG or the court of any effort to obtain a bond, according to the attorney general.


If Trump doesn’t post a bond or pay the judgment, the letter says, the AG will be “forced to expend substantial resources to execute the judgment on defendants’ real property and other assets.”


Noting Trump’s outstanding $83.3 million judgment in his separate case with writer E Jean Carroll in federal court, lawyers for the state say they’re concerned about collecting the nearly $460 million judgment in this case.

Everyone else has to pay their debt or have their properties seized, why not him? Of course she (AG of NY) should seize his properties immediately to pay the taxpayers he scammed. There should be a "bankruptcy Sale" on Trump Tower. It is said to be worth $300. Million, but he owes 100 Million on it. That would only cover 1/2 of his debt or less than that. He has other properties in New York and New Jersey.

The Trump Organization is a private entity and much about its financial state is closely guarded. Trump said under oath last year that he had more than $400 million in excess cash.
“If he does not provide all those dollars then that interest is going to keep ticking throughout the entirety of the case,” said Jeremy Saland, a criminal defense attorney. “The bottom line is he’s in trouble.”


“He doesn’t have to put up the money to appeal. He puts up the money to stop bleeding more money. The way to cover that wound is with cash,” Saland added.
