IF it were me, I think I'd take the children out of the State but the Grandmother says she doesn't want to disrupt the kids schooling & friendships so will relocate and fight the good battle for justice from there:

In the article itself, the Sheriff is quoted as saying "I wish our shooter would have called us....", rather than "the shooter" as it says in the caption. I wonder which quote is correct, since it does make a difference as to the local Sheriff's attitude regarding the killer.

I would read the event itself as Jupiter (4th house) because Sag is rising and it's in the loss degree (the 21st is a loss degree) -
Its not a horary chart of course, its simply an "event chart" nothing more. Much like a 911 call is an event chart or forensic chart.
However having said this, I really don't know - as I think I spoke out of emotion more than study of the chart. Any event can be read if we are proficient enough to do so - I think.
I was thinking of the politics of the State, how it has gotten so much worse even since Jeb Bush left office as Governor there and DeSantis came into rule. In 2012 when President Obama was in office, we saw the terribly sad case of the young boy who took a walk to the 711 store while visiting his father in an apartment complex in Florida. He had a Slurpie (from memory here, I believe) and a bag of Skittles, or perhaps just the Skittles?.....and as he walked back to his dad's apartment he was shot dead. His name was Trayvon Martin.
With this same law - this nutcase - Zimmerman shot him dead. Republicans like Trump saw him as a modern day hero.

There was ZERO threat to Zimmerman btw - none! I have no clue why he was not arrested and thrown into prison for life.

They had perhaps 3 really excellent and older Astrologers who had been around a long time and worked with the likes of some well known Astrologers like Watters, and others. I have my notes from that period of time (it has since disbanded, but lasted a few years) - I'd say they did these event charts similar to the horary in some respects, - the 7th for example is where we'd go for the shooter (but not always) it was more leaning towards the art and the Astrologer not so stringent as horary is with the "rules" which I liked very much. I'll find my notes and add some perhaps tomorrow if I had the time to this post. -

We don't know enough yet about what happened to predict the outcome. No matter how sympathetic the local authorities are to the shooter, the evidence will decide the verdict. The DOJ will step in if the victim's civil rights were violated.

which sounds right to me because she was quite wise even if very funny at the same time. (Sagittarius Sun) Scorpio Rising with Libra Moon.
She always expressed to us from the time my sister & I were small, "until it happens to YOU, you cannot know what it's like (to suffer) " usually a loss of some kind. It's so true.
That , I have found in life is quite a literal statement.
The Cheneys were quite fixed on their evangelical religious right wing ways until realilzing they would lose their 2nd daughter (who is a lesbian) unless they accepted her "wife" as their own family. They finally did come around to accepting gay marriage.
Senator Liz Cheney (her sister) continued to endorse the opposite view for a few years more, but because of the strain of relationships (familial ones with her sister I'm sure) she eventually came around.

All parents have had negative interactions with some grumps who seem to have it out for kids -- some parents more than others. Hopefully as a larger society we're beginning to reach past the fear of each other that covid definitely exaggerated, because grumps with guns have been pretty aggressive about standing their ground lately. Maybe this killer wasn't racist at the core but just a horrible person who counted murder amongst a range of acceptable behaviors.

Many of us have yogas, (yoked to other planets I believe it is) but kesari yoga is special I'm told, ....because it's of a guru. i.e. Moon-Jupiter when 12-1st hs. Many Vedics think of it in terms of wealth (you will be wealthy), but mom was born dirt poor during the Great Depression, and pretty much gave away most of her material possessions in life both to family and strangers. She was extreme in generosity that way.

I learned a LOT from her 75 yrs. One in a few million for sure. Personality wise, we mixed like "oil & water" however - Sag & Cappy.

Susan Lorincz, the Florida woman who shot "Aj" Owens, mother of four, was known for waving guns at the neighbors, and yelling racial slurs.

Shouldn't she have been flagged as a dangerous threat to society, and been disarmed by law enforcement?

She sounds mentally ill. If she's living alone, without getting any kind of therapy, I'd call it dereliction of duty by local authorities.

Also, the Sheriff's nonchalant attitude in the wake of this tragedy is mind-boggling!

Looked it up--"Brandishing" a weapon in a threatening manner is a misdemeanor crime in the State of Florida. This woman should have at least been cited for it, according to what the neighbors say she did multiple times, including waving her gun at the children. Ignoring the citings (if any we're issued in the first place) should have led to more serious charges.

This family may well have grounds for a large lawsuit against the Sheriff's Dept. for not acting to stop her reckless behavior--Dereliction of Duty.

It took 4 days, but finally the 58 yr old woman was arrested for shooting A.J. Owens to death through a closed door. She claims self-defense.

In a video posted on Facebook late Tuesday night, the sheriff said this was not a stand your ground case but "simply a killing."

"Now many of you were struggling to understand why there was not an immediate arrest," the sheriff said. "The laws here in the state of Florida are clear. Now I may not like them. I may not agree with them. But however, those laws I will follow."




The video shared by the sheriff's office shows two detectives and a deputy escorting Lorincz, who was wearing shorts, a black top and a jacket, down a hallway. The woman's hands were behind her back as she walked.

According to the sheriff's office, evidence showed that, over time, Lorincz had become angry over Owens' children playing in a field close to her apartment.
"Lorincz also claimed that Owens had come after her in the past and had previously attacked her," the office continued.

But "detectives were able to establish that Lorincz's actions were not justifiable under Florida law" and she was arrested, the office said.

The manslaughter charge Lorincz is facing is punishable by up to 30 years in prison, the office noted. She's also charged with culpable negligence, battery, and two counts of assault.

Billy Woods said in a statement that he wants "to thank Ms. Owens' family for their patience as we conducted the diligent investigation that we were bound by law to conduct. Ms. Lorincz's fate is now in the hands of the judicial system which I trust will deliver justice in due course. As I go to bed tonight, I will be saying a prayer for Ms. Owens' children and the rest of her family. I'd ask all of you to do the same."

Pressure was mounting​

Owens' family members called for the arrest at a news conference Monday.
Civil rights attorney Ben Crump, who's representing Owens' family, said in a statement that the shooter had been yelling racial slurs at the children before the confrontation.

He also represented Trayvon Martin's family in 2012, when the Black teenager was killed in a case that drew worldwide attention to the state's stand your ground law.

The sheriff's office hasn't confirmed there were slurs uttered or said whether race was a factor in the shooting.

About three dozen mostly Black protesters had gathered outside the Marion County Judicial Center Tuesday to demand that the shooter be arrested in the country's latest flashpoint over race and gun violence. The chief prosecutor, State Attorney William Gladson, met with the protesters and urged patience while the investigation continued.

Woods said Monday detectives were working with the State Attorney's Office and had to investigate possible self-defense claims before they could move forward with any possible criminal charges. The sheriff pointed out that because of the stand your ground law, he couldn't make an arrest unless he could prove the shooter didn't act in self-defense.

With love, Florida has a LOT of weirdos. The police probably have to pick and choose and end up ignoring many felonies. My California city also struggles with how to draw the line between live-and-let-live and tough love. I don't necessarily agree with the choices, because giving neighborhood violence (or scary intimate partners) a pass severely compromises quality of life.

The sheriff's comments, at least excerpts from the video, were heartening. May the family find peace.
