My introduction

Good morning to all of you. I began to learn Astrolgy in the far remote age when calculate and draw a astral chart was a handicraft work, and I am often surprised with the new elements or viewpoint I can yet find, for instance in my own natal chart. My masters (I have read their books) are John Lilly, Morin de Villefrance, Alan Leo, Aleister Crowley and Howard Sasportas. So, It can be said I am practising traditional astrology.

I usually write about world astrolgy in a spanish language forum: http://www.burbuja.info/inmobiliaria/conspiraciones/575457-no-sera-octubre-noviembre.html

A estrellero is, in ancient spanish language, a astrologer, a man who studies estrellas stars.

I was born at Februay 1st 1962, at 16:30, in Tenerife (Spain).

Good morning to all of you.
I began to learn Astrolgy in the far remote age when calculate and draw a astral chart was a handicraft work,

Good morning welcome Estgrellero
In fact none of those mentioned are traditional astrologers
however perhaps you wrote 'John Lilly' in error
instead of William Lilly

and for example
Alan Leo is most definitely a Modern Astrologer

we distinguish clearly on our forum between Modern and Traditional Astrological discussion

i.e.
Strictly MODERN ASTROLOGY board is For discussions on Modern Astrology only.

Note:
Typically, modern astrology is defined as using techniques developed around the late 1800s by Theosophists.

Specifically it relies on psychological, evolutionary, karmic, and non-western interpretation approaches
and includes Neptune, Uranus and Pluto, and non-Ptolemaic aspects.
The focus is more on psychological chart interpretation
instead of prediction

and in contrast

Strictly TRADITIONAL ASTROLOGY board is For discussions on Traditional Astrology only.

Note
:
Typically, traditional astrology is defined as using techniques developed prior to 1700

by astrologers from the Hellenistic, Persian, Hebrew, and Renaissance eras.

Specifically it relies on Ptolemaic aspects
(sextile, trine, square, opposition and conjunction)
and excludes modern planets
(Neptune, Uranus and Pluto,)
non-Ptolemaic aspects, as well as any asteroids.
The focus is less on what would be considered modern psychological chart interpretation and more on prediction.

Members who wish to explore a combination of traditional and modern ideas
should feel free to start a new thread in an appropriate forum for further discussion

thus members may discuss BOTH Modern AND Traditional astrological ideas
on any GENERAL ASTROLOGY board

Sorry. I wanted to say eclectic astrology. Morin or Lilly didn't know Urano, Neptuno nor Pluto, but that planets can be used in horary astrology or in the study of progressions, transits and solar charts.
