Actually, there is something to be said for this talk about polarities. The last astrologer I went to, back in spring 2005, said that any sign you look at on the zodiac wheel will draw energy from its polar opposite. Now, granted, I wasn't joking that much when before when I mentioned about Libra (Sun or rising) being a little sweet on themselves (again, no offense), but to illustrate a little bit of "rationale" (quotes used since I can't think of a way to add levity to this, maybe later in this post or another), Libra will draw on the Aries energy, being its polar opposite, and one thing to be said for Aries, rather emphatically (Mars ruled) is "me, me, me".
I can attest to that to some degree, having Aries intercepted in the 1st house [which I'm told weakens it--the interception; hadn't heard that before someone told me]. So, sponging off that Aries energy, Libra, while concerning itself with others, will have a
tendency, not an absolute, to generally say, "Look at what I do for others and how I treat people, see how great I am?" I know some people, many in fact, with Libra rising, and every single one of them acts like this. Can't speak for Libra Suns, only risers. Wouldn't be interesting, if not refreshing to meet a Libra-rising individual who
doesn't act this way.
(Interestingly,Bill Clinton has Libra rising, case in point. I voted for him, but I can still recognize the Libra rising when I read quotes he makes about himself that make my eyes roll.)
Anyways, that might be where my playfulness came from tonight, from my Aquarius Sun pulling on the Leo energy. Granted, the Sun is about ego, but like I mentioned earlier, it's a strong ego, nota big ego. That may be why I simply like recognition, but not necessarily public praise. Compliments made in public tend to embarrass me, even in a small group.
So there we have it. Can't wait to read what posts next!
And excuse all typos of course, lol!
