Lots of Pluto action... 10th and 7th houses, input on my interps

Hello again :)

So I've got some interesting transits coming up in the near future and I'd like to get some input on my interpretations... like always, to see if I'm getting this right:

-Pluto conj. MC = career and/or public image changes.
I calculated this (and I could be very off, because I suck at timing :joyful: ) for it to really "hit" my chart mid-january 2012.

-T. Pluto sextile N. Saturn (7th house) = work, work, work.

-T. Saturn conj. N. Pluto = more concentration on work...and more work.
(in the 7th house)

-T. Pluto sextile N. Sun ( again, 7th) = energy/change in routine?

My birth time is accurate, so my timing shouldn't be too off :joyful:

A lot of my transits now (like the ones above) aspect natal planets in the 7th, so I'm guessing this year will have an effect on my relationships (business and/or personal) more than anything...

But I am curious to see how this will all pan out.
I'm desperately seeking a career change. I've written in previous posts on my dreams on starting my own business (which I'm still working on) - but until that happens ( it's true what they say, it takes money, to make money), I work a typical "9 to 5" job to pay the bills, and I can't wait to either find a better job/workplace and/or launch my business.

If anyone has any input on my chart/interpretations, I would greatly appreciate hearing it! Timing is what I have trouble with the most.

Or hearing other's experiences with the transits listed above would be helpful too!

Also, I have one sub-question, if anyone can input: What would be some transits to look at for changes in my money situation?

I know that 2nd rules income, 8th can represent other's money (receiving/handling), and I know to look at natal planets, transit aspects to benefic planets to get a feel of the current money situation, but other than the 2-4 day personal planet aspects ( sun, moon, merc, venus, mars) I've never been able to clearly see the lasting aspects (if any)

Seeing as though there's a good chance I will have some sort of a job change, I wanted to start looking into how these transits might effect (if any) my financials

T Pluto is a *major* transit lasting approx 18months. I've had this and my father died on retro hit, my marriage broke down and I had to go back to work after 15years at home.....

you should also incorporate your secondary progressions, your prog sun looks to be 8' --1' off uranus. How did you get on with this? prog mercury looks to be conj neptune (but the chart is unclear) this could be good for dreaming, imagining, planning

Let's not forget you are having your *saturn return* another major transit, a time for making future plans, more serious...

did T jupiter conj juno bring any romance? what about prog mars on vertex?

prog moon approaching pluto, is a 3month transit, but could be emotionally intense or difficult..

prog sun on natal jupiter should be good, but conj 9th cusp could mean finances or opportunities abroad, or with foreigners perhaps?

I know that 2nd rules income, 8th can represent other's money (receiving/handling), and I know to look at natal planets, transit aspects to benefic planets to get a feel of the current money situation, but other than the 2-4 day personal planet aspects ( sun, moon, merc, venus, mars) I've never been able to clearly see the lasting aspects (if any)

transits to venus and pluto the money houses. I don't bother much with the inners, just start from mars onwards, this tends to be the 'ignition key' for the bigger transits..

-T. Saturn conj. N. Pluto = more concentration on work...and more work.
(in the 7th house)
don't undersestimate this one..

"The main theme tends to be facing responsibility in the face of corruption. This is a time when you have to concentrate your interests more deeply and narrowly, most often because you are going through a financial burden or some other kind of shortage. This is also a time to get rid of any rules and regulations that do not adequately meet the demands that you are experiencing. Many of the habits that you have grown used to, simply do not apply anymore. You may have to live with austere circumstances for a while. The authorities may not be dependable, or may be corrupt."

First, thank you for taking the time to reply astrologer50, your replies are always so helpful to me :)

So some thoughts/confirmations (in bold)

T Pluto is a *major* transit lasting approx 18months. I've had this and my father died on retro hit, my marriage broke down and I had to go back to work after 15years at home.....

At the very start of this transit, I had lost my job (company went out of business), and I had to move 500 miles away from where I was. Start over basically. I was desperately looking for work for over a year before I landed my current job... more on that below

you should also incorporate your secondary progressions, your prog sun looks to be 8' --1' off uranus. How did you get on with this?

Is this a good thing to have? Challenging?
:pinched:

Let's not forget you are having your *saturn return* another major transit, a time for making future plans, more serious...

Yep! I'm enjoying my Saturn return actually, you got it - it's made me more serious in many aspects in my life, more concentrated, kind like I'm laying down foundation for the future - cheesy sounding but true :joyful:

did T jupiter conj juno bring any romance? what about prog mars on vertex?
prog moon approaching pluto, is a 3month transit, but could be emotionally intense or difficult..

I currently have a partner, we started dating about 2 years ago, although it hasn't been the smoothest relationship - breakups and makeups. Oddly enough, the big fights happen when moon is conj. vertex, almost every single time

prog sun on natal jupiter should be good, but conj 9th cusp could mean finances or opportunities abroad, or with foreigners perhaps?

That sounds promising! :)

transits to venus and pluto the money houses. I don't bother much with the inners, just start from mars onwards, this tends to be the 'ignition key' for the bigger transits..

Noted. I will look more into that!

This exactly explains my current work situation - I was denied 2 promotions, that I was very qualified to receive, and told at one point I was going to receive -due to what I think - a bit of unfair practices at my workplace.
Needless to say it's been a bit frustrating....trying to make the best of what I have (not my dream job by any means) and I still get "blocked" from excelling no matter how hard I work. And also getting paid to do 3 jobs on 1 job's salary. So that's been limiting as well. (especially for someone trying to start their own business).

So I look forward to any future opportunities that could come my way and/or what Pluto has in store. I am a Scorpio after all - I thrive off of challenges ;)

For some reason, I can't grasp the timing of progressions, I know that a degree = a year, but every time I try to look at it, and try to narrow the timing down, I get lost or end up with a totally wrong answer. :pinched:

So I try to stick to transits because they're easier for me to calculate and look up to confirm I'm doing it right. Not so much with progressions.
Thank you again for your time! :)

I have the same asc aries. When pluto conjuncted my MC nothing happened at the area of my public area. The same at the second time. This year while pluto had just passed my MC, I took a decision to give up my second job because I had to start an educational course. I have to say that there were also some other transits, which contributed to this decision. Full moon opposite to my sun(1/7 houses) and transiting Saturn(natally at my 6th house) conjuncted my natal pluto( 7th house) at an exact orb.
I would like to ask you what were your experieces from transiting jupiter your first house?
For me, I met many people and I went to the abroad. 12 years ago, when jupiter was at my first house, I travelled to abroad again and I started to study so I met many people.

kannon said on thread…. And I agree http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?p=349658#post349658

Simultaneous progressed aspects like these are more common than you think. They occur off and on many times over your lifetime.
You can go to astro.com and once you are looking at your progressed chart from the "Extended Chart Selection" click the link right above the chart: _View the additional tables (PDF)_ ... this will open up a pdf document that shows two aspectarians on the second page (progressed): one for progressed to progressed aspects only and the second at the bottom shows progressed to natal aspects.
You will probably notice at least a few of these aspects are very tight (under 0*10') for major events in your life.

I would add to this is, keep the orbs very tight, 1' approaching 1' exact and 1' departing. The aspect grid will show ALL orbs upto whatever ratio you set it...
If you reduce the orb ratio down to 40% like you would for synastry bi wheel you will see aspects within 3’orbs.

progressed planets/charts are more 'internal' changes, evolvements rather than 'events or external' matters. I don't read prog charts as stand alones it's more important to see where these planets are moving in the natal chart

Your natal chart is like a photograph as unique as your fingerprint, BUT the 10planets in the sky have not stayed where they were in your natal chart, they have all moved. Predictive astrology is mostly maths where those 10planets are now and the mathematical aspects they make to your natal charts ie: 180'=opposition, 90'=square, 60'=sextile and 120'=trine.

So your personality, grows, develops, changes, matures as we get older, this is reflected by your sun sign changing from it's natal position to the next sign along, so does your Asc and MC sign change. In fact from sun to mars especially are important, as the outer planets really don't move much, using a 'day for a year' secondary progressions.

What's the difference between Transits and Progressions?
“Transits are the planets currently orbiting in the sky and the relationships they form to each other and additionally, to your chart. Transits happen for everyone. They're important and effect you personally when they contact a planet or point in your chart. Transits represent outside energy, things happening outside yourself. They describe external events and your responses to them. Progressions, however, move very slowly and are a natural progression of your original birth chart. The events and emotions they describe are part of you, deeply ingrained in your psyche, internal, and psychological. And as they form aspects, these inner feelings start to become more important and central to your life”

Inconjunct

Tanya, the only transits in the list you provided that will have any personal effect are T Pluto conj MC and T Pluto sextile N Sun - the others are between slow-moving planets that will a) last a long time, b) apply to lots of people and therefore have no personal effect on you.
