Karma-Past and Present life

As astrology concerns past life and past life karmas which play role in present life problem. It also says that there are different "doshas" (problem) in birthchart , because curse of past life, or past life deeds, due to this individual face financial, career or relationship problems.

There are so many innocent people, stuggling and facing problem in life, beside doing good karma.There are evil people, doing evil things ,still they become successful. How??
My question is, Does present life karma affect birth chart(for present life)???Does good karma reduce malefic effect of birth chart????

Hmm. In that case, I definitely have some bad past life karma involving love relationships...

According to one website the Moon placement can show the nature of the most recent past life. I have Scorpio Moon, so I was likely tortured. The Salem witch trials come to mind...
