Hi all,
I am suspecting the owner is intending on selling the apartment I have been living in for the past year. They sent me a rent increase notice a few days ago and I was advised earlier this week another real estate agent would be visiting the property for a valuation.
I am dealing with a not-so pleasant managing agent, not the owner directly and they haven't given me any information. The managing agent has been pretty unpleasant to deal with (it took them 3 months to fix a serious water issue refusing to answer my emails on the matter), so I am wary of everything they say.
I'm afraid I will not be able to find another apartment as there is a serious housing crisis and almost no housing supply.
