Introducing an avid learner

Hello!

I'm new to forums like these so I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing - I fully expect getting lost and posting in the wrong section. I registered here to further my knowledge of astrology, I'm mainly interested in the psychology/counseling aspect of it. So far, for as long as I can remember, I've only been teaching myself online how some of it works. I understand the basics, houses and some aspects but I'm determined to know as much as I can. I've done a handful of amateur readings so I'm fairly confident in doing little natal chart readings.

I started out as a believer but was too young to fully grasp it so my nose was mostly sniffing around the grocery-list, typical Western style astrology but I knew there must have been more to it. Recently, I've began getting much more serious about it. Can't afford to go to any astro school at the moment, unfortunately.

My chart is super Pisces-Virgo-Scorpio with a sorry sprinkle of Capricorn.

STUDY LIBRARY OF FREE TEXTS ON THE WEB at http://www.skyscript.co.uk/texts.html
There are five collections in this library.
  • The main collection contains links to books and magazines written in English that are directly related to 'traditional astrology' (from classical to modern times).
  • The extended collection refers to texts that are partly astrological or useful for historical research or philosophical principles.
  • The ancient collection contains links to ancient texts, fragments, or secondary sources that cover the ancient period.
  • The scholar's collection contains links to published theses, dissertations, and peer-reviewed papers.
  • The Latin & Greek collection contains links to important works in older languages

Another good list of links to astrological works is available at
