Hello everyone,

Have arrived to this forum from Astrodienst due to the closure of that forum. I hope I can find my old mates here, and also making new friends, and share our views on astrology with people worldwide.
Although have been a very long user there, nine years, wow!, I'm always learning about this knowledge.

I hope this new site could serve as a place where our old family continue growing.

Maryb!! Welcome!! :love: I was thinking about you the other day, as I hadn't seen you anywhere! I am happy you are here. I hope you like it! There are so many people here from the old forum. Each forum is different and this one has a good structure and a lot of participants-compared to other forums. I hope to see you post soon!

Yes!!! Seems a few of us have relocated here.
A few on Astro seek. Not sure the rest. I use to be on this forum long ago.
A few on the new international forum.
I took a break. It is nice to see you!

Both of these people are listed in the search. Go up to search in the upper right and where is says seach by member, type in the name. I know that Penguin has been here long before the current style of forum took hold. Arihant’s name is there also..

Arihant has been here since 2008, but has only posted 3 times, the last being 2012. He visited in December of 2022.

But Penquin is not here now. She is on the International Astrology Forum at: https://www.astrologyinternational.org/forum/index.php
I don’t know where Arihant is now. He was an administrater on the IAF above, but moderation there is whacky and he quit after some altercation with the Forum owner. The Forum owner there tells people they can disagree with him, but as soon as they do, they get canned or deleted. Unless you are from Europe, they may not accept you. The Forum owner just fired the only American moderator for disagreeing with him, aftr he said that he respected people who disagreed with him. So if you join, say that you are from the UK, even if you are not.

important to keep in mind that
There is no requirement for members to post comment - it's completely voluntary :)
ours is an astrological learning forum members practice astrological skills free
no one is paid
and
responses to threads are often from members who are beginners
with little or no experience but keen to learn by practice
Indeed
members sometimes discuss interpreting their own charts to learn by practice

clearly we also have members with many years of astrological study completed
NEVERTHELESS many members have day jobs
and
those of our members who ARE professionals
unsurprisingly DO NOT provide a complete professional reading for free

.

Is anyone else annoyed that the AstroDienst Forum has vanished? Locked out is one thing, but all that precious data is gone!
