Have we angered god ?
Here are a list of events since the legalization of gay “marriage”

*Creation of COVID and its spread causing many deaths
*massive economic downfall
*loss of many jobs and mass starvation
*explosion at Beirut
*godlessness (new statistics show that majority do not affiliate with Christianity anymore)
*Hongkong protests as they fear communist China will imprison them
*disastrous fires ravaged the globe
*Democrats attempting to destabilize the US by impeaching an innocent man
*Ebola resurfaces
*george Floyd protests and riots
*earthquakes
*increased rates of abortions (astronomically)

We have strayed from the scriptures and maybe this was the one that finally did it and unleashed a great plague upon us all!

The list covers just the tip of the iceberg

Bunraku, the forum rules specifically prohibit posts that are homophobic.

In my universe, no one is beneath God's love.

Your argument doesn't make sense. All kinds of terrible things took place long before western countries legalized gay marriage. Bubonic plague and the Black Death, two world wars, genocides, smallpox epidemics, chattel slavery, and so on.

That was the Saturn/Pluto convergence.

This isn't funny.

There are countries on the planet where gay relationships are punishable by death: Islamic states under sharia law like Iran. In WW II Germany, gay people were sent to concentration camps, where many perished. There are many countries where gay marriage is illegal, and where it is perfectly legal to discriminate against gay people. Same-sex marriage is illegal in most of Africa, eastern Europe, and Asia.

You'd think that if Bunraku's "joke" were correct, that a just God would have spared these countries from their serious problems.

Bunraku: given the forum rules, what on earth were you thinking?

The Garden was supposed to be a good thing.

Getting kicked out....:pinched:

Yes, the getting kicked out part.
And Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son.
And Caine's fratricide.
And on it goes in all the faiths and cultures.

Just talking about the stories of humans, David, not any faiths or cultures in particular.

You know what I mean.

It got bad after the exile from the Garden.

How bad did it get?

It got SO bad, God washed nearly everyone away, and made a clean start, thinking it would send a clear message.

So, how's THAT been working out so far?
