t is very hard to be objective when reading your own chart or that of a loved one. I was wondering what others might see in this beautiful baby's chart.

I was struck by the T-square to Neptune in the first. Any ideas how that might unfold?

I was worried in the first weeks because she was having medical issues. She was not gaining weight although she was nursing every few hours. They tested the milk and it was more than adequate. She ended up having a surgical procedure on her tongue which fixed that problem and she gained quickly after that. But then she had blood in her stools for weeks and they decided it was some kind of food allergy. My DIL did not want to give her formula, so she stopped eating nearly everything but fruit and veggies---no meat, dairy, nuts at all. That cured the problem but I hope she grows out of the allergies.

I don't know if the Neptune square Mercury/Saturn is indicative of allergies. Anyone know?

Good idea about the pr Moon. I have not even looked at any of that because she is only 6 months old.

The allergic reactions began within a few weeks of her birth. She had not had any immumnizations yet.

It is surprising to me because her mom has been a Vegan and a very healthy eater for her entire life. She has totally changed my son's life for the better with the way she cooks for them. She is the healthiest person I know. So I was very surprised that the baby was having allergic reactions to the breast milk.

They were having trouble finding out what was causing the allergies. I thought that might be the work of the Neptune square Saturn.

I wish that I had definite astrological answers for you!
The prog moon in opposition to jup. in Leo maybe points to a need for constant cuddling, a need for nurture, after all it is an internal manifestation.
Was your daughter on a healthy diet for her own allergies?...the next question that enters my mind is concerning the father- does he have (or had) any health
probs in the past, and are there any environmental factors that he could inadvertently passed on, like handling chemicals for instance...

Wow. Good call on the need for constant cuddling. I thought ,at first, that they were spoiling her by holding her constantly. But basically, if they put her down she cried instantly. So they pretty much held her 24/7. LOL She loves cuddling in one of those wraparound holders, and will sleep in that during her nap time. She does not like being separate from human contact. She is getting better at it lately.

I don't think my son ever handled any chemicals or anything. And he has not had any significant health problems. He has had some allergies that he has had since childhood. Hay fever and allergies to cats, even though he has two of them. He gets shots for his allergies. I wonder if that gets passed on to the baby ?

Maybe she inherited the food allergies. He does not have any food allergies as far as I know though. He is allergic to ragweed, pet dander and dust mites.

I am very curious how the Neptune in the 1st will unfold in her life. Her parents are not religious at all. They are both academics, with Masters in education, and college professors. It looks as though she might 'reject' that aspect, with her Saturn in the 9th, opposed Mercury?

First: I am a lactation consultant. It is healthy and normal to nurse every hour, 2 hours or 3 hours. Baby will have frequent growth spurts (some one week after the other) where mom and baby will seem to nurse constantly. This is not bad, just tiring. Baby does this to up moms milk supply since she us about to grow and will need more milk. The same happens for developmental spurts. Have mom download the wonder weeks app so she can see these coming. Buy her a Guinness beer during these spurts to help with uping the milk supply (one per night, not a six pack lol).

OK, I'll answer the actual question in next response

*feel free to message me about this issue if you like

I know from another post you were concerned about Neptune and its addiction issues. Neptune in 1st is not conjunct ac (which worsens the addiction tendancy) so that's good. Neptune is also the release point in this t-square. And this placement in the first is also good at defending others. Encourage this early on (in a healthy non aggressive way).

Remember I said check the 6th and 12th?. Well 6th is Leo with Jupiter. I don't see an issue there other dwelling on why something can't be accomplished. So if addictions happened, this would be hard for recovery. But so far I think things look good.
12th house moon in Aquarius. Friendly, sociable but maybe a little geeky (not bad for a 12th house). The issue is boundaries. If the parents set good solid loving (not tyrannical) boundaries and encourage naps and strict bed time I think this child will avoid addictions issues

Thank you for your helpful responses Dowhanawi,

Thankfully it was a lactation specialist that found the initial problem. The baby had a tongue defect which made it impossible for her to nurse properly. The doctor did a quick surgical procedure and it has now worked fine.

Our little sweetheart is 6 months old now and growing very well. Her mom has had to take almost everything out of her diet because they could not identify what was causing the allergies. Right now she only eats green veggies and fresh fruits. No bread, no dairy, no eggs, no meat, no cheese, no nuts. :pouty:

I have no real reason to be concerned about addiction. The baby's parents have no drug or alcohol issues, nor do the 4 grandparents. But when I saw the T-square to Neptune in the 1st, that is what came to mind initially.

Then I was concerned about health issues because of the food allergies. S0 far she is thriving and very happy. She loves to giggle and to do raspberries at the cats and doggies.

Good to hear! Sometimes food allergies are outgrown. I had to cut dairy out of myndiet for this baby but now that he is a toddler he is fine. Two of my others still have food allergies (one is 17 & the other 7)

Newborn sweetheart. What is going on with the first house Neptune?

Hello -

Neptune in the first? I know several people over time with Neptune in 1st. As precious as every newbie is, this is a placement to help guide positively - it's of great importance for a Neptune 1st to use that starlet charm to good means.

Fortunately or unfortunately, with Neptune square to Saturn in 9th - there could be issues of deceiving legal authorities or teachers but getting a come up pretty slowly on it

The Mercury Neptune can be a sign of 'mistelling' of truths - outright lying or deceiving.

I hope not to sound negative as much as hopeful that you take it for what it could turn out to be. Encourage honest truths and firm consequences for dishonest truths. Also - Mercury opposes Saturn 4th to 10th - so if the child has a tendency to play parental figures against the other - she must learn that all Saturn in 10th parties (family & structure) - are united in strength and consistency.

She's likely to be a real charmer - even if a bit shy - but sneaky is one of Neptune in 1st's greatest secrets - as well as others will romanticize the image of the Neptune in 1st. No one really sees Neptune in the 1st the same in people. They can have 12 different perceived images by 12 of their friends and family, etc.

Venus in the 5th in Cancer will be interesting to watch. She will probably want to always entertain her friends at home or be entertained by her friends in their home. This is not a wild party girl indication. But again - an indicator of charms.

Be on top of her every move and let her know she's under scrutiny - no short cuts or sneakin', even when it's cute.

So her moon is in house 12. My moon is in House 12. I feel that with Moon in that house, emotions cannot be expressed that easily. With my mooon in H12 I find that I'm very sensitive, and that I'm also very intuitive, but that expressing emotions are very hard. I love how her Mercury is in Gemini and I think conjunct her Nadir. She's going to be very quick witted, very quick to pick things up. My Mercury is in Gemini too, and I'm very much a gemini (even though I'm a cancer).
Her Neptune and Chiron in 1st house is interesting, I don't think it's anything bad but it's very watery and she may be extremely sensitive moreso than I think she will let on.

Thank you for your thoughts. That is a good point about Neptune in first and potential deceit or manipulation. She is very adorable with big blue eyes and she is very engaging. A charmer she will be. My son has moon conjunct Jupiter in Taurus conjunct her Sun. So she already has him wrapped around her little finger. LOL

I see what you see about the possibility of her playing Mom and Dad against
each other. I am glad to see the tight trine between her Saturn and her Moon.

Mom and Dad have very different beliefs and politics, and yet they are very close, very tight. They are both Aries with their Mercuries conjunct in Taurus. They text each other about a thousand times a day. They share everything, moment by moment. I don't think she will be able to put on over on one of them without the other knowing.

Both of her parents are anti-organized religion. They believe in a higher power but do not go along with nor appreciate religion. They see it almost as an enemy or a villain. Looking at the baby's Neptune makes me wonder if she will be interested in and attracted to religious teachings? Or perhaps metaphysics?[ Moon in Aquarius in the 12th, Sun trine Pluto, Venus in Cancer trine Neptune in pisces]

My granddaughters chart reminds me a little of my daughter's chart. She might be the baby's favorite Auntie because they both have Moon in Aquarius and they both have Gemini personal planets on the angles. Very quick witted and smart and agile and funny.

My daughter's Moon is not in the 12th though. It is in the third, trine her Gemini Sun, so she very easily explains why her Aquarian Moon is angry with you--or disappointed.

The Moon in Aquarius in the 12th will be a bit more complicated. I agree with you that she will possibly be very sensitive. With Neptune in the 1st and Moon in the 12th, sensitive and perhaps not quick to explain or communicate any slights?

Her Mother is an artist so I hope that is where much of the Neptunian energy goes at first. So she will learn to express her emotions and feelings in a healthy way. :sideways:
