Double Capricorn Stellium..and maybe more?

Alright, I'm new to this forum, this is my first post. Hello everyone!

So what I want to talk about right now is stelliums (just discovered this term today). I just found out that I have a double capricorn stellium. Mercury, Venus, Mars - Saturn, Uranus, Neptune...all in capricorn! Really explains a lot about my personality.

Here's the interesting part and my question for you guys. I also have a lot of cancer in my chart (moon, ascendant, jupiter) Would that be a stellium? Also, if I have Mercury, Venus and Saturn in my 7th house and Mars, Uranus and Neptune in my 6th house, are those stelliums as well?

Thanks for any input! I hope I was clear enough, there was a lot of information to put in there!

From my understanding, a stellium is collection of planets which are conjunct each other--not necessarily a group of planets in the same sign or house, although this certainly impacts its expression. So I suppose the important question is, what are the degrees of the planets in Capricorn? This is the area you should focus on, for while the Moon and Jupiter in the same sign as the Ascendant is interesting--especially since the Moon rules Cancer and Jupiter is exalted in Cancer--I do not regard this to be a stellium because a third planet must be involved.

How close do the degrees have to be to constitute a stellium?

That's a good question. It depends upon the astrologer, but I'd say the orb is about eight degrees--maybe ten degrees for the Sun and the Moon.

Since all of the conjunctions in your chart are less than eight degrees, I'd say that you have one MASSIVE stellium in Capricorn. I don't know if I should congratulate you or express my condolences because stellia can be tough--especially when a transiting outer planet such as Pluto will conjunct each planet in the stellium within the next twelve years. Uranus and Saturn will also square the various planets at different times.

You have a pretty cool chart. Is that a Thor's Hammer I see? Were you born during an eclipse?

Cool, thanks for clearing that up for me.

I think I like it this way. Hopefully all this Capricorn adds a nice solid foundation for my airy, eccentric Aquarius sun and my subjective, emotional Cancer moon/ascendant. There will definitely be some challenges in the future though, but I'm hoping to learn and grow from them

Also, not sure what a Thor's Hammer is haha. Annnd no I wasn't born during an eclipse, but apparently there was one two days after. Weird.

I too have Moon-Uranus-Neptune stellium in Capricorn 3rd house, all within 10degrees, (4, 10, 14) along with a Sun-Saturn-North Node stellium in the same Capricorn 3rd house, all within 5 degrees (23, 27, 28). :sideways:

I've read that this leads to overactivity of the mind (3rd house).... which seems to fit as I've recently been diagnosed with ADD-ADHD, an issue that remained unresolved since childhood.

Recognizing stelliums as a super energized triple planet connection is intriguing in itself, but the fact of having two so close to the cusp of the house makes me wonder even more about the special abilities of a double stellium like I have

In what houses are most of your capricorn ruled planets?

Except the asc that is in Virgo, my natal chart is identically with yours.:pouty:

Where you born in the early 90's?

Erm... ok, if it's not much to ask would you be willing to share some more or none personal info's about how you've felt your astro combo so far in your life?

I am absolutely stunned! and more because I just found out how rare a double stellium is ( and I just found out what a stellium means)

...:andy:

*Edit: Ok. I've been to shocked to notice that you've already said in which houses your planets are.

With the risk of being sweared at for stealing your thread, I would just like to know one little detail.

What's the effect of reserved Cap on artistic expression in the 5th house(being the house of self expression, ruled by Leo)
I'm feeling kind of blocked in this area but highly atrracted and I'm beginning to think that the Cap is the one to blame for it.

My combo:
Mars, Uranus and Neptune ruled by Cap in the 4th house
Saturn, Venus and Mercury ruled by Cap in the 5th house + True Node Aqua
Jupiter, Moon and Chiron ruled by Cancer in the 10th house
Sun in Aquarius 6th house
Pluto in Scorpio 3d house

...
many many thanks!

It is possible to have two stellia in a natal chart, but I am concerned that you misunderstand the concept; I did for several years, actually. As I mentioned in my earlier post, a stellium is a collection of at least three planets which are conjunct each other within accepted orbs. In its strictest sense, it does not refer to many planets located within one sign or one house if these planets are not conjunct each other. One can have a small stellium consisting of three planets, or a larger one consisting of perhaps five or six planets, but the inclusion of more planets does not make the stellium a "double stellium" if these planets are all conjunct each other within the accepted orb. However, if three planets are conjunct each other within the accepted orb, and another three planets are conjunct each other but not conjunct the other collection of three planets, I suppose this could be considered a "double stellium."

You may wish to post your natal chart so we can determine this.

What about a moon, say at degree 5, sun at degree 15 and venus, merc at degree 20. Does this make the moon participate in the stellium?

Then if the moon is afflicted, does its affliction translate to the stellium?

yes, but it's a stretch as sun/moon are allowed upto 10' orb, but obviously the closely the aspect the more noticeable the influence will be. Technically, I think it's 8' like a normal conjunction :innocent:
