Alec Baldwin was also the producer of "...Rust..."
and
more than an actor on set
much more responsible
for the Disregarding of at Least 15 Industry Standards
as well as not just prior notice
but repeated prior notice
of three accidental discharges.
Alec’s father was a firearms expert
an ex marine who taught rifle safety at a high school
highly likely he passed on some knowledge to his boys
Alec Baldwin and the Rust Tragedy - Part 16 The Big Lawsuit
Mark Groubert and Eric Hunley continue the exploration of
The "...Rust..." movie set tragedy
where Alec Baldwin shot and killed Halyna Hutchins.
We have been waiting for months
and now
the Hutchins' lawsuit has been filed

It's hard to imagine why Alec Baldwin didn't even turn the barrel
to glance at each cartridge primer
it only takes a few seconds.
Baldwin's impulse was to point then fire an unchecked gun
at a young mom.
His actions are impossible to fathom.
the actual event was far more harrowing than the so-called reenactment.
The reason being
that the witnesses upon whom the reenactment is based
cannot always be counted on to deliver certain details accurately
and may differ in the most minor of ways
but could be endlessly refuted by the defense
giving cause for "...reasonable doubt... "
which would go against the Hutchins' case.
some of the most egregious details
may not have been included.
Only those that are unlikely to be challenged in court
would have been used in the making of this video.

Baldwin was holding the gun.
Baldwin was pointing the gun.
Baldwin admitted he pulled the hammer back
Baldwin had the gun in his hand when it fired.
On that single fact alone, he's guilty.
Now responsibility and culpability.
Baldwin has previously said numerous times
that he has been trained how to handle guns on set.
He acted in something like 34 films where guns were used
so on prior experience alone, HE HAS BEEN TRAINED.
Any comments otherwise are attempts to excuse himself
and deflect blame.
Baldwin refused to attend or even hold safety meetings.
This attitude underscores his impatience
he felt he knew everything
and anyone who tried to show him again was wasting time.
Thus, his refusal to allow the armorer on set.
This refusal underscores his impatience and adds to his culpability.
His ready acceptance of the gun from the asst director
and his refusal to inspect and clear the gun himself
shows an utter disregard for gun safety rules he already knew.
He KNEW about the "...click, click, click..." routine
and tried to say he didn't do that
because of incremental harm to the gun.
That's a baldfaced lie.
Movie guns are tools, not collectors items.
The "...click, click, click..." is part of the safety routine
to ensure a safe gun.
Wear and tear on tools is expected.
Baldwin CHOSE to ignore a KNOWN safety practice.
This adds to his culpability for utter disregard
of established safety protocols.
