Omicron is raging across the globe, and New York City is responding
by directing residents and visitors to wear masks while indoors.
Do these recommendations have any impact on stopping the spread of COVID
especially considering that many people choose to wear ineffective surgical masks rather than N95s? :)

Who wants to get this? It honestly feels like such a relief! American statistics have come out stating that COVID infections are uncontrolled and spread like wildfire.
Who knew that vaccines are this quick to make? I thought it would take longer since everything the FDA does takes several years, but apparently I’m mistaken. Oh well, I better not think about it too much. I think it’s just amazing that Biden won and a vaccine came out ASAP and is finally to help solve this COVID pandemic. Do you think the Trump administration handled it / or is handling it well? (Or the best they could at least).

So many families can sigh in relief knowing that science once again saved the day :smile: I bet parents have a massive burden lifted off their shoulders knowing their children can be at peace once vaccinated.

Pfizer is developing a “...universal vaccine...”
which can modify the new mRNA vaccines to fight against new viruses as they emerge.
The new type of vaccine isn’t just being developed by Pfizer either
and officials including Dr. Anthony Fauci
have touted the vision of the vaccines
as being an end-goal of dealing with COVID-19.
The agenda behind universal vaccines goes far beyond COVID-19, however :)

the number of hospitalization is not necessarily the important indicator.
What would be important is to know how many people end up in ICU.
In Canada, a fair amount of hospitalization is driven by people from long term care facilities
or LTC (nursing homes) going to the emergency room to be assessed because they do not feel well
( that is how it works in Canada because a lot of the nursing home patients
do not have a physician who can assess them in the nursing home)
they are found to test positive for COVID and then the LTC does not want to take the patient back until healthy
and the patient is admitted to hospital as a COVID case.
This patient is then admitted for supportive care
(which could be rendered at the LTC facility),
taking up a hospital bed and has no effect on the eventual outcome.
The only numbers that should be taken into account are
the number of patients admitted to ICU due to COVID.
Any other COVID cases are irrelevant, in my opinion.


Anyone else concerned by some of what Geert Vanden Bossche has been saying
regarding non-neutralising antibodies and enhanced infection?
The fact we're having this sort of a respiratory disease outbreak in the height of summer
is not normal
It's not too late to change your diets. Sugar seems to the problem :)
Dr. Geert Van Bossche called this scenario exactly how it is playing out.
And he was rigorously censored for warning the world about this
since the beginning of the vaccination campaign

If the risk of a really bad outcome "...builds cumulatively,,," with repeated infections,
what does that say about the case for repeated vaccination boosters?
look into the new phenomenon called Sudden Adult Death Syndrome.

Qatar non vaccinated results data looks pretty good news for those who are unvaccinated
seems they get no worse sickness than those who are vaccinated
and get infected less often than their vaccinated counterparts :)

In Canada they euthanised thousands of care home patients because of 'covid symptoms'. Didn't even bother to test them. I doubt that has changed much, sadly.

I don't believe sugar causes covid.

I pay attention to Geert because while not everything he's said has come to pass during the pandemic, most of it has. I don't know if he's picked up that omicron isn't a variant of the Wuhan strain, though. Looking at it, it seems like it also came out of a lab. Happy happy joy joy. Whoever's releasing new viruses - please stop.

It seems like this is well beyond incompetence. We can only assume malice at this point.

I believe it's by choice (at the moment), though it's encouraged. But just yesterday one of the health ministers said that if young men want an exemption they should be allowed on account of the myocarditis risk. Let's see if he gets fired this week....

Lets just call this what it really is, the "...Mid-Term..." Variant.

NN ran a story describing Omicron BA.5 as the “...worst variant ever....”
Did they mean that this variant is causing more suffering, greater hospitalization rates
and killing more people? No.
They meant that BA.5 is the most contagious strain of COVID so far, but
the story failed to mention :)
until many paragraphs in
that individuals testing positive typically experience only mild symptoms :)
and that hospitalizations and deaths are NOT increasing as a result :)

Glossing over the difference b/w mono/bi/trivalent vaccines is a ratcheting down of informed consent
A “...measles...” vaccine, for example, comes w/ mumps & rubella antigens.
Tetanus (in most cases) comes w/ diphtheria & acellular pertussis.
When one only wants a monovalent vaccine
they are largely not available
due to corporate priorities.

The claim is that immunogenicity is not affected when
the human body is forced to generate antibodies against three different infections at one time
but individually that is not known

If you have not had the third vaxx you are an anti-vaxxer in Canada... definition of fully vaxxed needs to be changed to three doses they are saying.. However, many people in Canada will not get the third, forth or vax their kids. No matter how hard media tries to push it. I hope people are finally waking up. There is nothing to prove that young kids benefit from this vaccine. It truly is inhumane to push it on them

Actually, they've dropped 'fully vaccinated'. You now have to be 'up-to-date with your vaccines' - one every nine months to be current in Canada.

Yes I know it's officially been dropped and the definition has not yet been officially updated.
My guess, will need three vax to be fully vaxxed then will need yearly booster to be up to date with vaxx.
It will never end no matter which way it goes
