Just riffing here, but I would think that attachment arises from the child’s connection with Mother/Moon.
So the condition of Moon in the native’s chart by essential and accidental dignity, sect, aspect, reception, etc. would help determine the nature of one’s unique attachment dynamic with others.

If you have this ''disorder'' (and you feel like it is out of hand) please post your chart or your birth data so that someone here can post your chart and then we can show you why YOU (or the person you are discussing) has this issue.
Because there is more than ONE way to find you have codependent issues or separation anxiety or issues of this type.
There are Many possible planetary connections ....but your chart will show YOUR'S specifically.
I, for instance, might have similar issues but the planetary pattern can be different.

I agree with IleneK.
Outside planets say; Pluto, Uranus and Neptune tend to be parts of life that were due to environment though yes the Moon sign and house is also part of that it's self but would be the direct things growing up, Pluto for example deals with hidden things and mostly seeing things or being exposed to things, not always dark as in bad, but could be things that the majority don't go through which gives the sensitive Moon a sort of ability to dig deep and see further than usual, not just feeling ones own emotions but also picking up that of what is not shown on the surface, but also it could be seeing that the mother had non addressed karmic problems that don't begin with her but were carried through the family line.

Great topic Sandra! I'm excited to have a listen to your four-part series. I also witness this most strongly in outer planet aspects to the natal moon but excited to see what you've uncovered.
We need to remember that this is something that can change over time as we grow and evolve. Myself i was raised by a narcissist mother and in a very unstable environment that left a profound impact on my identity, development and trust in others as attachment style. Over time this can change when we experience stable, safe, loving relationships with others with secure attachment style. This is not easy or a quick fix but over time it will have a profound impact as myself did. So even are attachment style isn't set to the stone.🫶💜

I'm inclined to think that Saturn and/or Uranus in hard aspect to one or more of the personal planets could potentially leave a person prone to developing either an anxious/insecure attachment or an avoidant attachment depending on which personal planets are involved and what signs they are in.
Well, I think your podcast has a title that is not necessarily accurate.
If you are promoting yourself as some sort of expert, you need to think about the ethics.
Anyway, the 8th house factors are often the beginning of the unhealthy attachment....along with Moon position and other factors.
There is NO one answer. To promote the idea that there is, is wrong.
The 7th house is a house of legal partnership. And attraction. Attachment is different....it's emotional. Whereas the 7th, and Libra, are intellectual...air...vs water (4,8,12)
