Chart Up For Interpretation

What would be the best Career for me?

Hi. I'm new to the forum and I was just wondering how someone else would interpret my chart. Birth data are as follows:

Born June 30, 1991
11:38 P.M.
Chicago, IL

here is a link to my chart

I'm particularily interested in career advise. i know that my chart is in a seesaw pattern, but there is that pluto in the eighth house that is just overarching it all. I'm sort of lost on how to interpret my chart and what career would be best for me. there are a lot of oppositions between the planets on opposite sides. Right now at the moment I'm interested in music and science, but i don't know which to pursue.

if an astrologer would like to comment, that'd be great!

 Hey I am a newbi hear and I am intristed in astrology as well and how it effects our life. The knowledge of my interpretation comes from a book named " The Complete Book of ASTROLOGY". It says that since the moon is in aquarius you are a head of your time and are willing to move into new territories. It also says that you are forgetful and that you cannot even remember events that were significant or tramatic to you. Since the moon is in the 12th house it states that the flow of knowledge is easy. Also The moon releases the subconscious and psychic abilities are well supplied.

As you say, the Scorpio, Pluto, and 8th house energies and focus is strong in this chart. Here are some jobs associated with these things:
stockbroker, private detective, gynecologist, surgeon, midwife, psychiatrist, alternative therapist, undertaker, psychologist, pathologist, sewage worker, insurance, researcher, tax official, healer

Careering,

Tim

Re: Chart Up For Interpretation (Career Advise)

Willie,

Your midheaven is in Sagittarius. This means you will want an exciting job that does not tie you down in any shape or form. This position tends to dislike routines.

Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, is found in the 6th house. You will be happiest in a job that allows you to help others.

This astrological position favors professions linked to medicine, therapy or nutrition. If you do not have a career, you are likely to work in a company that provides some kind of service.

Welcome to AW,

When looking for career we look at MC its ruler, planets in 10th house and 2nd house planets & ruler, 6th planets and ruler

The link you posted doesn't work, so i have supplied a link with directions for you to upload.
It be most helpful to ‘post’ their charts (rather than data), for others to comment on as we are all visual. For help on how to do this, go here http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12126

If you intend to learn about astrology, you will need to begin with a natal chart, it need not necessarily be your own, but many choose to begin this way, in an effort to better understand their own life journey, and purpose. Astrological natal charts are as individual as a persons ‘fingerprints’ depending on where (latitude & longitude) and time of birth. It is important to get your *time of your birth* as this is the most important information.

Here are my personal recommend beginners links to focus upon Natal charts:-
I hope that you come here and want to learn about astrology and join in with exchanges. There ever expanding Education forum here and lots more to explore. http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12556 or try http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/TOClessons.htm

There are broadly speaking two main branches Astrologers fall into, Horary and natal Astrologers (but if you look at main index you will see lots more, like vocational, electional, mundane etc) will look at questions throughout different forums using techniques like Secondary Progressions, Solar Arcs, Transits, Solar returns, which can take years of studying, research and practise, but if you are truly interested, dive in, you’ll get lots of support, help and advice.

There are all types of Astrologers use this forum but mainly fall into Traditional & Western Astrology, the differences are explained here

House systems
Throughout the forums but mainly in natal astrology there are two main branches Placidus (unequal size houses) v Equal House (whereby each house is same size) but lots more……. For more information on these go here.

In the beginning of Liz Greene's (famous prolific author on astrology), “Astrology for Lover's” book there is a good chapter on What astrology can and can't do.
“Astrology is baffling because it works. So, what in fact is a horoscope?
What it's not is a way of foretelling the future, or of determining whether that tall dark stranger will turn up next week. To put it briefly the horoscope is a map of the psyche of the individual. it's a kind of blueprint, a seed plan, a model of the energies and drives which make up a person. Because it's calculated precisely for time and place, it's unique, unlike the sun sign column. Even identical twins are born at least four minutes apart, and in four minutes the picture has shifted.”

I have MC in Sag and I haven't wanted an exciting job, what I do look for is 9th house matters, ie; The Law (am trained legal secretary) teaching, training people, passing on info, travel industry, maybe even travelling, religion, philosophy etc etc. Where Jupiter is placed in a chart suggests the area where we want to expand and grow in our lives and this suggests the type of work you do and relationships with co-workers and day to day routines.......;)

Have you read the 'sticky' welcome thread before posting, cos there are lots of useful educational links for beginners???

All right, the chart should be posted as a thumbnail now. I'm sorry for not being specific enough on my first post. I'm mostly interested in how my oppositions (specifically the sun-uranus opposition, and the moon with venus, jupiter, mars, and pluto) affect my chart. In addition, on astro.com, it showed me having a grand trine with my ascendant, pluto, and my sun but not in this chart. Can there be grand trines with the ascendant?

Technically no, cos they have to aspect another planet, but it doesn't mean that they don't aspect the Asc cos they do.

Do the research and see if you can identify with the planets, energies involved.

http://www.cafeastrology.com/natalastrology.html

worth looking at your quincunxs which cause an internal strain or health issues until resolved. All aspects are like compartments of your personality and it's hard to differeniate which is which, but when studying astrology, it helps to break them down into 'bite size' chunks. Your Jupiter is in the 6th house of co-workers, type of work you do and daily routines & health.

upiter Quincunx (Inconjunct) Uranus

Overly ambitious, you have an intuitive grasp of the big picture, which stems from optimum flexibility of your values. You are easily led by your impulses to quickly adjust to deep changes in your values. Without discipline you will be in trouble because your enthusiasm will carry you into uncharted waters. Expression of your energy can get you into trouble. Slowly, you learn to harness this expression into something truly creative.

Jupiter Quincunx (Inconjunct) Neptune

The imaginative and humanitarian side of your nature needs lots of exercise in a "trial and error" manner before you are able to get your best skills to emerge in a way that is non-intrusive and can elicit the best qualities in others. The artistic side of your nature may seek a manner of expression that allows you to stay behind the scenes so you do not have to climb the learning curve required to interface directly with the public.

Oppositions are usually 'other people' opposing you, your ideas, thoughts etc. Here on AW if you use the search feature you will find lots of past threads covering such items. As for Uranus aspects try this....
