Hmm I wonder what her Duad/Dwads in her ascendant are? This could add fuel to the fire, but if she has any in aquarius and sagittarius, this could be reason to maker he seem of those signs as well.

The duad of the sign considerably affects the way the sign works. For example: The duad of your Ascendant will colour the qualities of the Ascendant and the way you use your ascendant sign. E.g. If someone has the Cancer duad of Sagittarius rising they will use the Sagittarian energy quite differently to someone who has the Scorpio duad of Sagittarius rising. They will even look quite different. Both will present a more “watery” feel than Sagittarius Ascendant normally does.

This can be taken further. The person who has the Cancer duad of Sagittarius rising will have the ruler of Cancer, the Moon, as the sub-ruler of the Ascendant. The position of the Moon and its aspects would be important, particularly if the Moon aspects Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, or aspects the Ascendant itself.

This is a huge thing to consider, the idea of the Decans and the Duads/Dwads in Lady Gaga's natal chart.


Any time you wonder how two people with quite similar horoscopes can be so different, look at their dwads. You may see how one of your Leonian friends is truly a pure Leo (Sun in Leo's Leo-dwad) and yet another Leonian friend is more like a Virgo wit all her or his critical talents (Sun in Leo's Virgo-dwad), and the third one is extremely sensitive and compassionate (Sun in Leo's Pisces-dwad). Or why a Scorpio you know has such a talkative and light personality (Sun in Scorpio's Gemini-dwad). And so on.

I made three charts a few pages ago with Virgo, Gemini, and Sagittarius ascendant, but now I'm really open to Cancer Ascendant also as well as Pisces. More important than Decans, i think, is where the other planets fall in the houses depending on her Ascendant. I think Moon must be conjunct Pluto (Meaning she was born BEFORE mid-Virgo ascendant). I also think the Moon conjunct Pluto must be in a prominent house - maybe in the 5th or the 10th, which would be the case with either late Gemini/early Cancer (Moon conjunct Pluto in the 5th) or late Sagittarius (in which case Moon would be perfectly conjunct Pluto, with a tiny orb of a degree or so, in the 10th).

While that can be proven, I've done some research and been reading up on not just DECANS, but DWADS as well. For instance. I've got a Pisces Rising in Scorpio Decan and Scorpio Dwad. This makes me to be more Scorpio than it is Pisces Rising.

My beautiful Scorpio Intern found this image someplace and i love it.

It’s make me think of a stupid astrology book i once read that said Leos have the most amazing eyes that can stun at 20 paces, are truly the windows to the soul, shines brighter than Venus herself, never age, are extremely seductive etc etc but she basically slagged off the eyes of every other Sun sign. She said, for example, that Pisceans have close set bulging eyes like a frog, those of Taureans are often bloodshot, that Aries have close set eyes and a monobrow, that Scorpios are too heavy lidded to not look sinister…

So this raises three points:

(1) Do you notice any particular different eyes to go with different signs?

(2) What do you think of those Sun Signs books with a bias?

(3) Ever since Neptune went into Pisces, i have become interested in eyes again - enhancing them with make-up, ensuring they are shiny and clear, googling fancy eyedrops and thinking about them as – yes – the window to the soul. Is this just me?

this is just another gross generalization... I don't buy it. But, as I think I have mentioned here before, I am guessing Gaga has a Sag AC with Neptune conjunct it.
Sags are extroverted, but Neptune on the AC will give them a watery appearance, a "petite" frame, and, of course, a talent for glamour and magic...A lot of performers have Neptune-AC aspects, especially the conjunction.
Just a couple I can think of are Edward Norton and Jim Caviezel. Mario Lanza had the trine.

I think she is a 0 degree Cancer Ascendant (or 29 degrees Gemini), giving her the mutable chameleon quality of Gemini, and the maternal, introverted, dark, cardinal quality of Cancer.

If she were born around 10:07am, this would be the case. Moon and Pluto are in Conjunction in Scorpio in the 5th, which can explain the exaggerated Scorpio traits in her performances.

Her eyes are very dreamy like Taylor Swift's (moon in Cancer) and she has a very cardinal appearance, typical of someone with heavy Aries and Cancer. Lady Gaga has the sweetness and vulnerability of a Cancer - this is not a Scorpio trait. Sun in Aries in the 10th is consistent with her projected attitude of independence, especially in relationships:

This also puts her midheaven in Pisces, which is undoubtedly a strong sign in her chart. Both Mercury and Jupiter find themselves here (with a loose 10 degree conjunction), in the 10th house. This can explain why her Pisces expression comes through in her music and fashion sense so strongly. It also suggests that she is very artistic and eccentric. On the stage, she most definitely gives off a Piscean aura.

Many people feel that Lady Gaga is so outlandish that she cannot possibly be a Cancer rising, but I think this is a huge misrepresentation of the sign. Take Angelina Jolie for instance, who is also a Cancer rising. She wore a vial of her husbands blood around her neck, dressed like a goth in all black to the Oscars when she was 24/25, kissed her brother in public, has a lot of tattoos, and is known to be a rebel.

Similar to Angelina Jolie, who is a Cancer rising on the cusp of Leo, and has the regal bearing of a Leo but the iconic and maternal quality of a Cancer Ascendant, Lady Gaga has the mutable unpredictability of a Gemini but the iconic and maternal quality of the Cancer Ascendant.

Posting on this thread is a bit like a losing battle, because most people are so firm in their beliefs - especially those who feel she's a Scorpio rising, but after considering all the options, I feel that this is a very valid guess.

Did anybody see her on So You Think You Can Dance on Wednesday and Thursday? She was a judge on the Wednesday show, and two of the performances made her cry. One made her cry so much that she could hardly speak because she was so moved. All I could think was Cancer/Pisces rising.

I watched the video and remembered that song. Jeff Buckley has an amazing voice and fascinating music. I got chills just watching the performance. It also struck a chord of emotion too; nothing of the crying kind, but strong.

I know that for anyone that has a Strong Scorpio or Pisces in their chart, music transcends to a deep core level. It literally can move the person to tears or give chills or even create a feeling of ecstasy from head to toe. It's more true when a memory or specific a feeling is attached to a song.

Famous people with Pisces Rising include George Clooney, Robert Redford, and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Some famous people with Cancer rising include Steven Spielberg, Stephen King, Julia Roberts, and Ben Affleck. Angelina Jolie has Cancer rising with Venus tightly conjunct the Ascendant.
