would anyone be interested in analyzing my birth chart and telling me a few things about it? I am new to studying astrology..but I am fascinated by it. I just wanted to see if anyone could help me out on understanding my birth chart.

Sticky: Starting out with astrology-The Basics

Hello Cutie! As this is a learning Forum, and you supposedly came here to learn about astrology, I would recommend you to try reading up a bit on natal astrology first (see link and other articles in our Education Board).

When you know a bit how everything works, then what other people will write about your birthchart will be much more meaningful to you. You will understand what they are talking about. You can then also write some comments yourself and start a meaningful discussion. Just asking for others to interprete your chart will maybe tell you something, but not teach you much.:)

I dunno..i know some stuff about astrology..like i know what each planet means and how each sign is..i actually can usually guess people's signs upon meeting them which is pretty cool...but i just don't understand my birth chart and what it means for my psych when "neptune conjunts the moon," etc. i know what conjunction means...but not the deeper meaning i guess..i'm really curious though about all those concepts, i want to know all this means in regards to my birth chart. i want to know if my birth chart is interesting in any way.

ps. i am also really confused about what the houses mean if anyone would like to explain that to me :) thanks everyone for responding to me..this is all really interesting and i am so glad i found this community

House systems
Lots of people that come into Astrology get their free charts calculated at www.astro.com and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all that there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few more.

Throughout the forums but mainly in natal astrology there are two main branches Placidus (unequal size houses) v Equal House (whereby each house is same size) but lots more……. For more information on these go here.

My way of helping newbies is for them to do more research and learning rather than just ‘drop the answer in your lap’ and not necessarily to provide professional readings and forecast future events.
Having a Sagittarius MC is the sign of the teacher and I do indeed teach astrology. This forum is a wonderful community of all mixed levels. So instead of dropping the answer in your lap I may provide links and dangle carrots in the hope that if you are sincerely interested enough you will do the research and enlighten yourself….

oO shcutie what is your birthday? You and I have the same Sun, Ascendant, Moon, Mercury, Uranus, Neptune, Saturn and Plutos in common :eek:
