I am a dual US-Canadian citizen living in Canada. Last year Wells Fargo bank closed our account, even though we had been customers for several decades, simply because we did not have a permanent US primary residence. Naturally they didn't get to keep our money. We withdraw it when we got their announcement.

This isn't Joe Biden's fault. It's not the job of the President to dictate to specific banks.

Happily we found a different US bank who didn't care where we lived and was pleased to deposit our money.
