Re: France and astrology I heard of France's ASC is 22' Aries: the sabian symbol of a pregnant woman in her Sunday best in the field (images of Marianne, the mascot of the French Revolution of the 1790s). France esp since 1958 is known for new and haute fashion, a more emphasis on social liberalism than I observed in the US, and in the words of radio shock jock Michael Savage "the Atheistic, Secular, Pagan" nature of French culture in the 2000s-10s. France still has a tie to Roman Catholicism (Virgin Mary, mother of Jesus said to came from pre-Christian Celtic religion of a mother goddess figure). And the French culture: "there is beauty in everyone and everything", the "joie de vivre" (joy of life), dealing with the way the world can be (their temperament when they have reason to critique and complain), the love of food and culinary arts, (to be slow, well-prepared, appreciated, valued and not thrown away) and the capital city Paris was said to be named for a Gallic deity said to be the planet Venus (symbolic of beauty and female empowerment), noting western and northern Europe's ranking high in gender equality, women's rights, feminist liberation and (maybe it came from my father's side who's from the Picardy/Artois/Flanders, then Nord-Pas-de-Calais and now Haute-de-France): I like to see a pregnant woman (oddly, he didn't seem to have that), but I blamed that on puritanism in America, and to see beauty in someone or something, you value the person a lot more and to view a "sensitive subject" with more honor, respect and dignity (talk about the French Republic motto "Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite" of all classes, races and genders).
