I strongly and longly believed our hobbies and interests are determined by our natal chart.
In my natal chart: My ASC/Rising/"Aries point" is 17' Cancer and my natal 0-1' Aries is conjunct MC (9th-10th) at 2-3' range. Or it can be interpreted as a 29' Sagittarius-1' Capricorn in my case (the winter solstice in North America point).
The 9th house is about religion or working with hands and the 10th is science and working in the office (for many of us have noon-time ASC charts, we'll find either one).
2 versions of my (personal) supposed hobby/interest degree:

And in my life cycle we all have: The Aries point to Cancer point is 90' having to do with our hobbies and interests we develop and acquire in our lives, let's say in my 90-year expected life: From 0' Capricorn (year zero) to 0' Aries (year 90) but most people may have a different ASC "Aries Point", like (for example) someone has an ASC 17' Capricorn (opposite mine) has an Aries point to determine their hobby or interest in 17' Aries (4th house all the way to 7th) while mine is cusp 9-10th ends in cusp 12th-1st.

I take it hammock and carpet has a lot to do with someone getting into travel and leisure industries, your work and career has to do with play and relaxation.
Or an alternative: My 30 Sag-0 Cap in 1980 (each month this progressed degree moves into another sign every 6 years): Now at age 42, it's in my 5th under Scorpio in the cusp 30' Cancer-0' Leo and that's the degree having much to do with the obtainment of wealth and accumulation of fortune in the year many of us are receiving federal or state stimulus checks for extra income, but I feel in 2022, high inflation has diminished the value of the dollar wherever we live in the country and the world. I guess the year I was born represents my parents installing a sense of heritage and culture, notably a generation away from the old country and a grandparent in a homeland of an indigenous people.
Does everyone else have anything on their natal charts connected or linked to a particular hobby and articulate interest?
