the social aspect of moon in aquarius, especially in the 3h, never really resonated with me. i blame serious saturn conjunct my moon
I have mine conjunct Venus. It says that particular placement dislikes swearing and I swear all the time. Hell, I just got a flask that has a print on it that says 'I do not give one f**k, two f**ks, red f**ks, blue f**ks' ala Dr. Seuss style.

yeah i believe saturn dials it down a lot. i see my moon in the 3h play out as me being a listener and ā€œfeelingā€ out the conversation and know when stuff is off
Take a peek at the book PDF I attached to this thread when you get the chance! It talks about hard aspects from the Moon to Saturn.

Found a really interesting book on the luminaries. The Luminaries: the Psychology of the Sun and Moon in the Horoscope by Liz Greene & Howard Sasportas. Best book on the luminaries I've read. I've attached the free PDF I downloaded from academia.edu.

Here's an excerpt from the book about Aquarius Moons:

"The Moon in Aquarius has a few different sides to it. If Uranus is strong in the chart, their statement could be, ā€œLet's electrify the environment, let's bring new energy and life here, or let's disrupt things a little to make it more interesting or lively.ā€ Like the Moon in Gemini, this placement is usually curious about life and interested in observing how others function and operate. There is a need to learn and discover things in order to feel satisfied and at home, so a person with the Moon in Aquarius is likely to circulate and talk to a whole range of people to find out where they are coming from, what they believe in, how they conduct their lives." (Greene and Sasportas, 1992, P. 77)
This reminds me of when I first read anything astrology related in the 5th grade. I knew I was a Sagittarius but I related most to the Aquarius descriptions I was reading about. All those years later when I got into natal, it turns out I had this Aquarius Moon, and that memory started to make more sense

Emotionally difficult read, though. Definitely need a strong Pluto influence in your chart or Aquarius' ability to disassociate. :)

Can relate to electrifying a moment. Reminds me of a time a friend was running around at a party with torn blue jeans and a particular tear was across his bare bum. I couldn't resist but pinch it. lol No one, including me expected such shameless behavior. lol

I didn’t think of that, how it could be emotionally difficult to read. 😲 As I was reading it, I was in a detached state of mind thinking, ā€˜ahh yes, interesting. šŸ§ā€™
Helps if one has explored their subconscious a bit already. :pluto:

That’s hilarious. 😹

I can't understand what makes that emotionally difficult to read. Tell me more, Moondancing
Lots of material to emotionally recall the damage done early in the mother-child relationship and looking at the emotional difficulties that develop in adulthood. For example, reading the effects Saturn/Moon has on you triggers every cell in my body with emotional memory. Even though I've dealt with these issues, it still triggers me. The article is replete with challenging aspects to mull over. :)

i feel this

as a moon/saturn person i just avoid the natal descriptions. i’ve read too many times how f’d up the aspect is and how i’ll be pretty much living in saturn’s misery cell the rest of my life if i don’t off myself. they rarely talk about the positive and if they do it’s usually being emotional dead makes for a good boss. how nice, thanks
