Any chances with such a difficult birth chart?

This is the birth chart of a friend of mine. I found it so interesting I had to post. No trines at all, and only one sextile that is not really meaningful, since almost everyone born in that decade has it. A huuuuuuuuuuuge stellium, making a huuuuuuuuge square to Neptune. I dont know too much about him or his past life. He is 50 years old now and is divorced with a underaged son that he is not able to support, coz he has had no job for years. He lives with her mother, who supports him financially and, of course, has not any respect for him. He seems not to really care, despite he claims he is always trying to find a job. His dream is to be a screenplay writer, but he knows very little about the subject. He spends his days chatting online.
I would like to hear he will improve his situation some day, any clues?

He has yuga yoga which is a difficult one. All physical planets (traditional) occupying two signs;

http://astrology.atoot.com/vedic-astrology/yuga-yoga

The presence of Yuga Yoga in a person's Rashi results in making the native poor, pretender, phony and a hypocrite person. The person under the influence of this Yoga as an impact remains filthy, messy, untidy, unidentified, nescient and a slothful personality. He will not possess any worthy qualities in him. Also, the person as an impact will also become religious outcast, will be redundant by others, and will be destitute from kids and mother. The native at the same time can be genuine and straightforward.

Take that with a pinch of salt. You need to examine the whole chart, and I don't have the time for that.

Also, the majority of his planets occupy the 8th house, not a terribly pleasant life, I imagine.

They're all combust an all. Eek

Probably the only thing that will help this guy is developing a spiritual orientation towards life. If you believe in karma, then he's paying off in spadeloads this lifetime.

His Saturn is likely his only asset (of sorts) so he actually has a certain capacity for enduring chronic difficulties and unfortunate circumstances. Probably just as well

OMG... Thank you, anyway. But I have to say that I don´t think that anyone in this world could be totally unworthy... Being so chased by Neptune, it is no surprise he is so confused and dreamy, let alone being unable to focus.

Your motives are helpful, however it is important that you confirm you have their permission to post their personal details in the form of their natal chart since it would be unethical to delineate someone's chart without their permission. Also necessary to be certain the time of birth is accurate

Nice to believe, but is it true?

Many of us go from cradle to grave having no real positive effect in the world whatsoever.

It's a rare person who doesn't have a single iota of decency or a single good quality, but it's not impossible.

His mercury isn't totally trashed, which may account for the writing ambition.

Stephen Arroyo wrote once that we better do not judge anyone, because we don´t know if the person is being lousy with a good birth chart, or doing the best they can with a bad one. The only truth I believe is that everyone of us is here with a purpose. Sometimes, this purpose/lesson may be the experience of uselessness...

I'm not sure if you are saying you think I am being judgemental.

I read charts. I don't care particularly to be judgemental. I say what I see. I'm right or I'm wrong.

I don't look down on the troubled, the shiftless, the ignorant, or the struggling, because I am one of those people.

The only truth I believe is that everyone of us is here with a purpose. Sometimes, this purpose/lesson may be the experience of uselessness...

Well exactly.

I used to be a drunk; now I'm a recovering alcoholic. The drunks have it better; they don't have to go to those darned meetings.

So when I see a drunk slithering through the gutter, I don't look down on him. Not judgmental...there, but for the grace of God....

But as Moog says, I say what I see.

And with six planets in the 8th...Ouch.
And then with the tight square to dependent and escapist Neptune....
And Saturn the sole dispositor while conjunct his enemy Mars
And chart ruler Moon exiled in Capricorn and within orb of Mars-Saturn.

The guy is 50 years old. If he hasn't learned by now....

And yes, everyone and everything has purpose. The cockroach, the fly, and the black plague have purpose. You might want to review your understanding of purpose. Life is not all "sugar and spice and everyone is nice."

The interesting thing is that anyone, and I mean ANYONE can make the best out of a lemon, even a bad lemon.

If you were to look at famous births for each year on wikipedia, this is proof that people can achieve things and make a great impact on the world we live in.

People with a conglomerate of planets in one area are specialists. This means that if they use their chart to their fullest and donate all their time and effort to what their planets can do, then they could be the best in that field.

An 8th house stellium, in theory, should be a very ambitious, but perhaps the neptune squares have prevented this from happening.

However, it begs the question: What is success?

Bob Dylan said that success is when someone wakes up in the morning and is able to do what they want to do.

The important thing, even with the successes and failures of the person concerned, is that the person in question is happy.

You are dredging up a post for someone who has not posted here since last April, almost 5 months ago, for a subject that was asked 21 months ago.

ASC-ruler Moon is void of course and in detriment in the 7th house. The Moon is not only VOC, but also "feral": This is a very rare condition in which the Moon doesn't apply to any of the other six planets by classical aspect throughout the whole sign. The Moon being feral is an exaggerated version of VOC. Hence the native, being of phlegmatic temperament, seems to be lacking independence and a direction in his life - instead he's heavily depending on others (7th house), especially on his wife.

Saturn is very dominant in this chart, he disposing all seven traditional planets. He's ruler of the 7th (wife, others etc.), but more especially of the 8th, as being placed in it. Saturn is in domicile, but afflicted by the conjunction with peregrine Mars. Hence I would judge that your friend might profit from some inheritance - but he is in danger of losing it again, e.g. by treacherous friends (Mars ruler of the 11th).

However, all is not bad in this nativity - look at the Mercury/Jupiter conjunction on the cusp of the 9th house (Placidus), both being unafflicted. This suggests that your friend could profit from learning, science, or religion/spirituality. The native's parents or some of his older ancestors (if living) could also be of great help, seeing that Mercury and Jupiter are ruling the 4th and the 10th house.

And it can be useful,

but if the re-poster dredges the subject up, with the expectation of getting a response from the OP, then they should first check how long its been since the OP actually visited the forum.

Nice to see that you returned safe and sound from wherever you went for all that time!

Is anyone going to acknowledge his north node? I see that he has his north node in the 2nd house. North node in the 2nd house--the house of Money and Self Worth, means his lesson in this life is to stop depending on others for money and a destiny to become self-sufficient. He also has his north node is Leo, his lesson there is to create a life for himself, to dedicate themselves to higher principles at the expense of his creative expression. From what you shared, he seems like he's not self sufficient, and not setting his goals to higher principles because he's focused on his creative expression (screenplay writer/being online all the time). North node is activated at the age of 30-32, he's 50 something already and his life will only get harder if he rejects what he's supposed to be in this life.

He also has interceptions. Interceptions are blockage of energy, they are also referred to as "hidden" potential. They have their own lessons. His Taurus/11th house and Scorpio/5th house is intercepted. Ironically, 5th house intercepted suggests a suppressed and blocked creativity, which is probably why he has trouble pursuing his creative expression. Intercepted 11th house means problems with friends and their hopes, dreams and wishes. Sounds a lot like his situation.

As for Taurus/Scorpio intercepted, I wrote about that here: http://starlilium.tumblr.com/post/145235796798/intercepted-signs
