What do y'all think about the asteroid Hephaestus Hephaistos (2212)?

Geez. That's a lot! :surprised: I salute you for surviving something like that and being strong enough to discuss it.

Do you see placements that suggest this is the birth chart of a legendary singer?

It's Chaka Khan, who was dubbed "Baby Aretha" when she hit the scene. And it's interesting (at least it is to me) that they share(d) the same rising and sun sign and other astrological similarities. For instance, I noticed that Aretha Franklin's second house was also empty. And her Mercury was...

Do you see placements that suggest this is the birth chart of a legendary singer?

You're right. I tend to stick to the Placidus house system due to preference so much so that it didn't dawn on me to use another one. I'll be able to spread my wings more as I learn more. And it's interesting you should mention her yod and the possibility of her developing her voice because...

Do you see placements that suggest this is the birth chart of a legendary singer?

She really emotes when she sings. I believe the stories she tells through song.

Do you see placements that suggest this is the birth chart of a legendary singer?

This woman is a living legend. She's sold millions of albums, won a ton of awards, is praised by her contemporaries and has influenced other legendary singers who have come after her. But as you can see, her second house (voice) is empty. Her Mercury is retrograde and in its fall in the house...

Do you guys use placidus or whole sign for natal charts?

I've used both. And for a while, I preferred WS because I think I liked the fact that it pushed a stellium into another house. But I think the Placidus placements are more "me" and ring truer whether I like it or not.

What do y'all think about the asteroid Hephaestus Hephaistos (2212)?

I'd never heard of it until I stumbled across some info concerning it and the mythological god its named after yesterday. And for those of you who don't know, Hephaestus/Hephaistos sounds like the inspiration behind Beauty and the Beast. Hera rejected him because he was ugly and deformed. Then...

Confusion about evolution via north node in Gemini

Before I start begging for help/clarity again, let me say happy 2021, y'all. I hope this year's a lot sexier than 2020 was. Now on to the begging. I've been reading about the nodes and how they help us evolve into better versions of ourselves, and I thought I had the basics down until one...

    Help, Bucket Shaped Chart

Here's a link that explains bucket pattern characteristics: https://horoscopes.astro-seek.com/astrology-chart-shape/bucket Every planet isn't covered. Mars is, however, and you'll probably get the gist of how the unmentioned bucket handle planets will work in conjunction with planets on the...

    Venus Scorpio conjunct Taurus Mars

In addition to opposing each other, both planets are also in detriment (i.e., struggling to act appropriately) and in fixed signs. So I'm guessing harnessing the energy of those planets and then finding a happy medium with the expression of that energy is probably no cake walk for you.

Do you think it's possible to completely reconcile square energy?

Touché and c'est la vie. Life would be dull if it wasn't complicated at times.

Do you think it's possible to completely reconcile square energy?

There are different schools of thought. The post I referred to resonated with me because my lone fixed square has proved to be the most difficult one for me.

Do you think it's possible to completely reconcile square energy?

Yeah, it could very well work that way for some people. Here's a link to the piece I referred to in case you're interested in the author's take on squares: https://ellie-mae-astrology.tumblr.com/post/163518731132/the-benefit-of-squares-astrology

Do you think it's possible to completely reconcile square energy?

Wow! That's a lot to deal with in your fourth house, especially with Pluto being there. Glad you were able to make your peace with the energy. I only have one fixed square, but it's a biggie: my Leo ascendant and Scorpio-Neptune in my 4th. Those two created a lot of "look at this, but don't...

how does the sun effect intellectual skills ?

To me, a sun-Uranus connection just suggests you either enjoy your uniqueness or have trouble enjoying and/or expressing it based on the aspect. If the sun is in your 3rd or 9th house, that would say a little more about your intellect, but I would think Mercury and whatever it touches would...
