Hi all, so since i'm still a newbie to astrology, I'm wanting to read more into fixed stars and was wondering if some one could be kind enough to interpret mine? Thanks in advance. :)

Fixed stars don't really mean anything unless they are conjunct your personal planets. Since you have no conjunctions to fixed stars they don't mean anything.

You do have Alta opposite Venus, which may mean something...

THE FIXED STARS IN NATAL ASTROLOGY http://constellationsofwords.com/categories/natalrobson.htm

Fixed stars conjunct angles in natal are dependent on a reliable time of birth
if the time of birth is out by four minutes or les
then any possible angular Fixed Star conjunction is unreliable

keep in mind also that conjunction by Longitude alone is insufficient
conjunctions to fixed stars are noticeable when conjunct by LATITUDE and/or DECLINATION

find the "additional tables pdf" above top left of any astro.com chart
click on these because
the additional tables pdf provides latitude as well as declination and longitude

Only a moderator has the ability to move a thread
sending a private message to moderator wilsontc and/or moderator tsmall
with an explanation of why you would like your thread moved to a more appropriate forum
would resolve this issue

If you go on astro.com and click on the extended chart selection, special charts there is a Paran's chart you can get for your natal chart. Pretty interesting stuff.

by the way, one of the Parans option Special Charts on astro.com Extended Chart Selection Page
is Parans according to Bernadette Brady - PARANS is in fact VISUAL ASTROLOGY

to the Astrological Association conference in York, UK in October 2005

Keep in mind that the idea of Astrology being VISUAL is original astrology from thousands of years ago

And what if it conjuncts during a transit? Actually I was told they dont mean anything..

Fixed Stars are distant suns, light years distant from earth
There are stars out there much bigger than our puny sun
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Eh5BpSnBBw
And what if it conjuncts during a transit?

The Fixed Star REGULUS for example
is approximately 247 LIGHT YEARS distant from our planet Earth
as a consequence of such vast distances
FIXED STARS transit very slowly
moving
about one degree every 70 years

and so
Fixed Stars conjunct natal planets at birth
by LATITUDE/DECLINATION and not just LONGITUDE
are those to note

Actually I was told they dont mean anything..
Fixed stars delineation is a topic on which few have much experience

So you could similarly say for eg. a fixed star is conjunct the ascendant by declination,
if it is there on a particular degree?
Correct

To find the DECLINATION of the ASCENDANT
use the ADDITIONAL TABLES PDF
the link is located above left on natal chart image of astro.com

keep in mind however
that an EXACT time of birth is ESSENTIAL
because the ASCENDANT travels at the rate of ONE DEGREE every FOUR MINUTES

famous example in the news currently
is DONALD TRUMP
who has REGULUS conjunct ASCENDANT
and
REGULUS is also conjunct Trumps natal MARS

Correct

Well, there's no chance of me finding out the exact time, given the amount of maths involved; mine being a presumed rounded birth time. I would rather 10 years hard labour in North Korea than that amount of maths *_*

Then there's no reliability regarding whether FIXED STAR is/is not on ascendant

I dont use fixed stars at all and certainly not in transits.
Same with asteroids and any other bodies that are not planets but including the Sun and moon of course.
.
Chiron the jury is out on and I will look at it but in tight orbs only and not with transits. For now... I keep my mind open.

You wont find any verified information on Alta or with Venus whatever and for good reason, just not valid.
