The sun is a star. It has to do with you. ALL the objects that go around the sun, planets, (comets?), tnos, brown dwarfs have to do with you.

Other stars are your brothers, parents, teachers, wives, husbands, bosses, etc.

Galaxies are cultures, french, german, italian, galactic center = your culture.

Supergalaxy clusters are mankind. shapley 8 super cluster is our mankind.

Hope that helps, cause where i'm sitting nobody has a clue about stars and the cosmos. Oh and your body is a universe, the universe is a body.

Have a good day

Only conjunctions are considered with the fixed stars, and those with the Sun and Moon are especially important. Stars near the ecliptic are also important when rising(on asc) or culminating(on MC). The Renaissance astrologers allowed an orb of about 5 degrees for the most important stars such as Spica. Most astrology softwear uses a one degree orb. Fixed stars in the natal chart are very slow in their effects, but I have found by experience that they should be considered in the progressed chart. They also have use in horary, elections and mundane astrology.

I have Spica/libra/10th, this is sextiling my sun... this means nothing because its not conj right?...

QUOTE:

'.....The fixed stars operate by position and are said to "cast no rays,"
or in other words their aspects are said to be ineffective
and their influence to be exerted only by conjunction and parallel

The most powerful effect of a star is exercised when it is in conjunction or parallel with a planet,
and a great deal of information on this will be found in the next chapter.....' Vivian E Robson

Stars are different than planets and the lights. :) I have noticed patterns with the same planet placement opposite certain stars regardless of the generation. :)

I have Spica conjunct Venus,

and have had little but wretched love life
.
It's easy to check the declination of your natal Venus on astro.com

use their Extended Chart Selection Page to create your natal chart
then when your natal chart is displayed onscreen
click on "Additional tables (PDF)" - just above where it says "Name" - that PDF provides additional info which includes the latitude of all your natal planets

then you can check whether or not your natal Venus is
solely conjunct Spica just by longitude alone

or

whether your natal Venuis is also PARALLEL Spica by declination as well

Spica brings fortune in many areas,

but it is an unfortunate star for love
.
the following information is viewable at Anne Wright's website: http://www.constellationsofwords.com/stars/Stars_alphabet.htm

According to Ptolemy
Spica is of the nature of Venus and Mars
and
according to Alvidas
Spica is of the nature of Venus, Jupiter and Mercury.

This is the Venus, according to your directions above:

Venus
Latitude: 2°12' 3" N
Declination: 7° 9'13" S

What does it mean?
Thx.

As well as Longitude
Spica also has declination and Latitude co-ordinates
as shown on Anne Wright's page on Spica
http://constellationsofwords.com/stars/Stars_alphabet.htm

Therefore, since you have provided the Declination and Latitiude co-ordinates of your natal Venus
these may be compared with the Declination and Latitude co-ordinates of Spica

COMPARISON

YOUR NATAL VENUS Declination = 7° 9'13" South

SPICA Declination = -11º 9' 40” South
clearly then
although Spica and your natal Venus are both SOUTH OF THE EQUATOR
The distance in degrees between them = 4º
because
11º minus 7º = 4º

and therefore
your natal Venus is not conjunct Spica by Declination
because the maximum orb is

The abbreviation 'DEC' on the image = DECLINATION

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

WITH REFERENCE TO LATITUDE

YOUR NATAL VENUS Latitude = 2°12' 3" NORTH
SPICA Latitude = -02º 03' SOUTH
Therefore your natal Venus and Spica are in opposition by Latitiude

The latitude is:

23°41' Libra.

It's all rather confusing to me, but thanks for your effort.

Take as much time as you need to understand the concepts
- other posters have indicated by their comments
that they have clearly understood

when you said:

The latitude is:

23°41' Libra.
that was incorrect
simply because
you yourself already posted the following comment re: Latitude of your natal Venus

This is the Venus, according to your directions above:

Venus
Latitude: 2°12' 3" N

Declination: 7° 9'13" S

What does it mean?
Thx
.
I then explained as above

HOWEVER

it is clearly apparant that you have confused Latitude and Longitude

i.e.
23°41' Libra is the LONGITUDE
