US dollar can be printed freely. This gives the US a huge advantage.
When there are any economy crises in the US
the FED just prints money to solve their problems, but the whole world pays the cost

because other countries' US dollar foreign reserve's purchasing power decreases.

However, the US abuse of the use of the power of the US dollar
through arbitrarily sanctioning the countries not standing with the US ruling class
this makes fewer and fewer countries solely use dollar as their foreign reserves.
At the end of the day, the US cannot use dollar as a weapon when its influence is weakened.
Therefore weaponizing dollar is a self-destructive mechanism itself.

I have no clue, the GOP turned to the religious right in the 1980s under Ronald Reagan, a personality not known to be quite religious, a state governor of CA known to legalized abortion on demand, no-fault divorce and homosexual practices in the 1960s in a highly liberal period, esp the state was the hotbed of the New Left, counterculture and civil rights activity (which was nationwide, the Southern US is where Martin Luther King Jr hailed from).
