Japan resumes Russian oil imports:
Japan resumed its purchases of Russian oil in July, according to information
released on Wednesday by the country's Finance Ministry.
While the ministry did not disclose the exact volume, it said July oil imports from Russia
were 65.4% lower than the same time last year.

The volume of liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports from Russia also decreased by 26.1%
compared to July 2021, while coal imports dropped by 40.1%.
Despite the decline in physical volumes
the value of Russian fuel exports to Japan increased by 45.1% compared to last year
due to rising global commodity prices.

Basically, Japan is saying the hell with EU sanctions
they will not destroy their economy or let its citizens freeze this coming winter
just to stroke Zelensky ego and his self-delusion of defeating Russia military.

President Putin played this one brilliantly
He did everything right, was very diplomatic (given the circumstances)
didn't do anything out of spite, and started selling Russian resources and food in rubles
The end result? A strengthened ruble, made western leaders look like hysterical amateurs
and started re-igniting Russian industries.

That helps put in perspective what Putin said about gas allocation for nordstream 2
being redirected toward Asia.
Germans may want to put NS2 in service this winter but won't get much from Russia anyway.

People in Europe at this point have no idea the misery they will endure.
Besides electricity and car gas rationing, the closing of businesses
and ensuing jobless numbers rising,
they will hopefully wake up and rise to force the dropping of those sanctions.

The German government itself is to blame for the fact that for them
the Nord Stream has become their headache.
If they had not made such loud statements, had not invested so much pathos
in their actions, they could well have left Nord Stream as a backup gas supply channel.
After what the German government has done, this project has become extremely toxic for them.
If they go so far as to launch it, then they themselves will be to blame for their shame
US imposed sanctions against Germany if they open North Stream 2.
The paperwork needed to open the pipeline would have been done long ago
if not for the Nuland, Blinken, Yellen lobbying the EU and Berlin

also how can they fill their reserves AHEAD of schedule
with gas flow DRAMATICALLY reduced?
NS1 works at 20%, pipeline through Poland is not working as well as one that goes through Ukraine.
So, what magic do they use to achieve such results?
Maybe they reduced the overall capacity
Cooked the books
They're playing mind games. Just 2 weeks of a severe cold snap and the reserves will not last

In Serbia, around 85% of people are pro-Russia, anti-EU and anti-NATO. People clearly don't want the parade but EU and US are pushing it. The official police stance is, they will prevent all gatherings on Saturday. Normally, that should include the parade but people just don't believe it. It is expected that huge anti-parade protest will take place on Saturday. Clashes with the police are expected. Usually when something like that happens there are dozens of injured on both sides and Belgrade looks like a war zone.
