Can wealth be on the 11th house too? Money bags I heard. 11th, 2nd, Venus Jupiter aspects.

POF can be there and that'll help with life.

But in regards to materially wealthy people: Warren Buffet has an opposition between exalt Jupiter and domicile Saturn from the 8th to the 2nd.

So the opposition in his case is a good thing or that there’s something else in his chart to make him so rich apart from his own free will.

TRADITIONAL SIGNIFICATORS of "...MONEY...":

SUN controls loftiness of fortune, providence

MOON controls affluence, fortune, possessions, housekeeping, gains and expenditures

MERCURY controls commerce, numbers, calculation, profit,
weighing and measuring, testing coins, marketing, banking, gamblers
VENUS controls public benefactors, acquisition of additional property
working with gold and precious stones, the supervisors of markets

weights, measures, trades and shops, giving and receiving, precious stones

MARS controls robbery, the loss of property, the loss of good things, violent theft, banditry, plundering

JUPITER controls prosperity, payments, large gifts, abundance of profits, inheritances, treasures

SATURN controls obstacles in business, tax collectors, lands, administration of that which belongs to others

It's usual for people to pay a bank to take their money
in a thousand different ways. Charging to hold it, if you don't keep x amount in the account
if you don't make enough transactions for example.

People work to earn money - the government takes some for taxes.
Put money in a bank they take some of your money.
Then when people buy something the government takes some for taxes.
People spend about a quarter of their life
working just to pay taxes & fees

Buy a house or rent an apartment
& people spend another half of their life working to pay for that.

"...SATURN controls tax collectors, administration of that which belongs to others..."

"...MERCURY controls commerce, numbers, calculation, profit,
weighing and measuring, testing coins, marketing, banking....."

Essentially no one is really working to earn money at all
but working to pay government, banks etc. before you even spending anything

.

For me:
Mercury disposits currency
Sun disposits stock exchanges
Jupiter disposits capital
Saturn disposits debt
Moon connected with short term market volatility

Sun + Mars midpoint to determine direction of crude oil valuation over a short time period

Mercury + Jupiter-Saturn = the lot of interest (to determine value of interest bearing debt instruments over a short time period)

Venus + Jupiter-Sun = the lot of stock index valuation (to determine direction over a short term time period of the value of a given stock index)

With the size of our National Debt in the U.S., Saturn's got a LOT of dispositing to do then!

What rules the wide gulf between the rich and the poor?

I think inequality is probably affinitive to Saturn. Poverty certainly is.
not necessarily

ON THE DIVISION OF TIMES

SATURN onto Sun favorably placed by day

cause high rank and wealth.

SATURN FAVOURABLY PLACED BY DAY
causes profit from vigorous efforts and hard work, ancient trades,
mysteries, legacy, relatives, elders, property and land
& THE TIMES BECOME GOOD FOR EVERYTHING

SATURN onto Jupiter favorably placed by day

is productive of prosperity
notable friendships and acquisitions.

SATURN onto Venus favorably placed

indicate success in business and marriage for the unmarried.

SATURN onto Mercury favorably placed by day
indicate great advancement and increase of wealth.

SATURN onto Moon
When favorably placed
the time is profitable and productive of alliance.

Jupiter onto SATURN favorably placed by day
cause advancement, association with the great
the alleviation of distress
nativities spend freely and manage the work of others.

Yes saturn can be a truly golden planet-but detrimented or poorly placed it is probably the strongest indicator of such things like poverty and blocks to moving ahead and continuance of the status quo.

Ancient alchemy's 2 major intents seem to have been changing lead into gold; and, achieving immortality.

The element mercury was believed to be the key.

Lead was associated with Saturn, planet of mortality.

Gold was associated with the Sun.

Quite a mystery!

Yes saturn can be a truly golden planet
i.e.

IF in good condition and well placed

for example
The houses are not all equal in strength and power.

If a planet is located in an angular house, it is much more forceful in its effects
than it would be in a cadent house.

Stars are unfavorably placed when they are with their depressions
and unfavorable houserulers
when they are inoperative, especially with the VI and the XII
when they are not rejoicing with their sects and images
when setting under the beams and retreating
whenever they are not rising alongside favorable non-wandering stars

when they are ascending from SATURN
and
when they are ascending from Mars
both particularly with exchanges of rays
and superior placements.

Hey Jupe, when you say about cadent houses for example my sag is in 3rd and Jupiter in first. My chart rules Venus is in 3rd. So they are linked but does that make 3rd stellium and Jupiter weak? I’ve heard cadent is weak before.

So does it make obtaining wealth difficult if you have these signs in a cadent house? But not rule it out?

Hey hi Lunar

cadent is weakest house location

each natal differs

Do you look at Chiron at all when it comes to money and wealth?

So you take it into account in a chart?
Although it was initially called an asteroid

and classified only as a minor planet with the designation "...2060 Chiron..."
in 1989 it was found to exhibit behavior typical of a comet.

Today it is classified as BOTH a minor planet and a comet
and

is accordingly also known by the cometary designation 95P/Chiron

CLARIFICATION FOR ANY NEWBIES:
members discuss planetary aspect meanings
within any and all contexts

including that of one thousand five hundred asteroids
or a mere 700 asteroids
if that is ones preference

for example:

I use the following asteroids for love and relationship:
Erato, Amor, Bienor, Bosque Alegre, Compassion, Amanda,
Frigga, Klyria, Medea, Rousseau, Summa, Valentine, Anteros, Hathor, Jason, Moraes, Peirithoos,
Pocahintas, Sidi, Ubasti, Sappho, Amicitia, Patroclus, Cupido, Medusa,
Hephaistos, Demeter, Hera, Thereus, Valentine, Nessus,
Ariadne,
Chariklo, Close, Rhoda, Damocles

Does anyone use others not here, and what do they mean?

Zarathu

its a small number. I regularly use 700 of them

Clearly then, our forum allows discussion on a varied spectrum of astrological shades of opinion

and so
I merely mention my humble astrological opinion

which is:

A PLANET acts

A HOUSE shows the area of life
in which the planet acts

as well as
how strongly the planet can act

astrological-houses-02.jpg

and furthermore
that the
quality of the planet's expression
is influenced by the SIGN location of the PLANET

However keep in mind

not all members
are of the same opinion

It's like someone realizes that they are an actor in a play,

then with experience and knowledge of the craft,
that revelation opens the door to them becoming the director also.
Going then with the analogy of a '...theatrical performance....'

we have
12 basic '...backdrops...' to the theatre stage or movie set of a natal chart
Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces
wheel-layers-3d.jpg

and then
Each of 12 '...backdrops...'

- dependent on reliable time of birth

is pinned as an individual '...background aka cusp...'
on each of the 12 basic '...scenes..' aka '...places...' aka '...houses...'

astrological-houses-02.jpg

1. Birth/Self/Appearance/Vitality/Strength

2. Resources, material comforts, earnings
and all issues concerning wealth or of a financial nature
including the manner of attaining wealth, personal goods and belongings,
assets, income, gain, money lent to others, profit (or loss when afflicted),
support and assistance from others. http://www.skyscript.co.uk/temples/h2.html

3 Brothers and sisters, cousins or general members of the family
(not parents, they belong to the 4th scene aka house).
Neighbors and local neighborhood. The environment in which we live and work.
Short journeys or those made on a regular basis.
Letters, rumors, reports, messages and messengers.
Communications generally. Newspapers, magazines, telephones, postal service.
Written deeds and contracts. Speeches and debates.
Our ability to express ourselves and communicate to others.
Languages, mobility skills and self-expression http://www.skyscript.co.uk/temples/h3.html

and so on..........

....each '...scene...' aka 'place...' aka '...house...' features planets
as '...actors...' within any one of the 12 basic '...scenes...' aka '...places...' aka '...houses...'
'...acting...' aka '...performing...' before the '...backdrop...' of the 12 '...signs...'

for example
Venus and Jupiter are the '...good people...'
Mars and Saturn are traditionally the '...villains...'
Mercury can be the '...dodgy person...' - sometimes good sometimes not so good

dependent on the company Mercury keeps

Scenes '...merge...'

taking into account that planets in each others houses
influence the '...script...'

and then
we have our "...travelling players..." aka transiting planets
putting in temporary appearances

for example
transiting MOON is "...on the scene.." for approximately 2.5 days
before travelling on to the next venue

MERCURY puts in an appearance "...for one week only.."
then on to the next scene - unless retrograde

after nineteen days VENUS goes to the next '...stage...'
SUN sticks around for a month
MARS fifty-seven days
JUPITER a year
SATURN two and a half years

adding layers to the drama

an analysis may be as complex or as basic as one prefers
