Would you consider Pluto dominant in my chart?

Hello! I've been recently deep diving back into astrology after a mild hiatus and I'd be really interested in knowing what you guys think about my 4th house pluto presence in my chart.

I would be grateful for any insight and I thank you all in advance for any pluto thoughts and really anything else that jumps out to you in my chart!

No, I do not think you are Plutonian. What is most outstanding is the trine of Venus to Moon/Mars. You are more emotional than most about romance. You want wealth and ease. Mercury is not too far from the As/Mc midpoint, so Mercury is also very influential.

If pluto sits in IC house - strong placed in own sign in intercepted scorpio under the surface of 4th house - your emotional basement - your emotional identity, your basic trust - you will go out into the world with - Yes this pluto I would call as dominant.

As pluto in 4th house is always connected with a very deep subconscious fear to get completely destroyed and abandoned and left alone. Intensified by pluto sextiling neptune and uranus in 6th house - ruled by saturn.

Uranus as ruler of 8th house - with uranus / pluto corresponding energy in 8th (called the earth-quake energy). 8th = death and near to death experience, shocks and traumata experience in own life- at point of your birth. With saturn in 8th house - on special degree of 0° pisces - between 2 signs and 2 worlds - the visible and the invisible - being aware of both at same time..

With this constellation - you have a very fine instinctive deep looking prewarning antenna for danger with - and can instinctively "smell and feel the rat under the surface". And probably had already early to learn it- and to get it trained for your self-protection - uranus in 6th house - work and working on something - inconjuncting your leo moon and your chiron in 1st house.

Venus in aries in a neptune ruled 9th house main ruling 4th house - mother experience in childhood - squaring uranus as ruler of 8th house in 6th house and neptune as landlord of 9th - where venus is as a tenant in.

I assume that your mother wasn't much available for you as a mother was not much a warm hearted, patient and cuddling mother. And that you probably very much needed an intercepted scorpio with pluto under the surface of 4th house- for protecting your emotional side - to stand it and to go through all in your childhood.

You may want to change the orb value to less then 80% or whatever orbs you used, (I think the default on astro.com is 80 or 90% ? Best to check it because these squares from Pluto to Mars & Saturn appear a bit wide to me, but I just glanced quickly. I'd check myself for you but you did not include your stats for the chart info.

Looking again, your Pluto square Saturn is correct - I just call into question the square to Mars -

Do you try and control people at home? Pluto is often about control issues.

from Astrology King:
Saturn square Pluto natal can cause stubbornness but also great resilience and a ruthless determination to succeed. The greatest obstacle to success is stubbornness, not to be confused with persistence. Stubbornness is a dogged determination not to change your attitude or stance on something.

Thank you so so much for your insight. Yes that's actually why I've been so curious about both my pluto and my Saturn placements. When most look at my chart they see my Leo placements, my Venus in Aries, 11th house, and assume it's all fun and warm! However I grew up alone with my mother who is a dysfunctional alcoholic so I had to control everything or everyone would know the secret. As a very small child I checked the bills were payed, I washed my clothes in the sink with shampoo, I never ate or was hungry, I falsified her signature for school notes so she wouldn't go to teacher meetings falling over drunk and I mostly stayed alone in my room until it was time to fix some damage. She now has alcoholic dementia. I haven't seen her in years when I was trying to get her help and she tried to tase me lol

I had a very dark existence for many many years. I do believe those positive/strong/masculine Leo Aries and Sun placements are what got me through it. As soon as I freed myself at 15 and started living on my own everyone started dying. I've buried 5 people, 3 of which I had to organize funerals for because my mother was too drunk to do anything. Which I believe to be my 8th house Saturn. I also have a very strong feeling she and my absent father will physically or metaphysically die during my Saturn return which is soon to come.

I do in fact sense danger, in people, situations, places. Those who know me have seen it confirmed so often they don't really question me anymore when I tell them no on something.

Thank you so much for validating my complicated aspects. It means a lot!

Thank you! How can I change the orb value? I was looking for it now and couldn't find how to change it.

I had to control many many aspects of my life growing up, I lived alone with my alcoholic mother and as a small child I was the one making sure everything kept going and nobody knew.

Nowadays the most I control about my home has to do with cleanliness and verifying at all times my 2 cats are safe, healthy and not escaping/falling out of windows.

I am indeed very stubborn on emotional issues, I tried to help my mother for a lot longer than most would. On intellectual issues, thankfully, I am open to change my mind.

Thank you so much

here on astro.com if you use their charts they've changed things quite a bit, so you need to examine the "drop down boxes", until you come to this one under "chart calculations"

Try different orbs (closer & further ) planet to planet and see which one fits you better. If their default is 150% that is terribly wide imo, although I usually for quick charts, just go with the defaults myself.:pinched:

mine current default setting:

After alteration: (just play around with the percentages, see what you get if anything more suiting to you...as YOU know YOU best!

Looking at your natal (thanks for the background), I see your 9th house cusp is Pisces meaning, "ruled by Jupiter" which imo is the spiritual side of a person, what the soul has gained through past lifetimes.

Then checking out the aspects for Jupiter, I see a trine to the Sun.

This is a sign (IMO) of an evolved soul - moreso then not.

We cannot evolve easily if life is cushy and we get everything we want.

What was it the great prophet Edgar Cayce said?

"To obtain the Crown you must first bear the cross".
He often quoted some obscure line from a gospel having read it all his life, even in trance - if that particular line fit the person he read for. Its one that has given me much solace in my longer life, when it comes to suffering.
https://biblehub.com/luke/14-27.htm

I have a Jupiter 9th house in Pisces myself. Using the Tad Mann theory for natal charts - it tells us about our mother's psychological state during the time of conception. Your mother must be a person with great faith in something above her own self and her weakness. We ALL have a weakness, she is no different that way.

Compassion is best as hard as that might be.

As my mother taught me as a child and reminded me all my life until she died, "there but for the grace of god go I". That simply is putting oneself into another person's situation which brought her to this choice.

You will be blessed for caring for your dear mother - you already are

I would consider Mars a dominant body. It rises and it is also conjunct your Moon; it rules your midheaven and it rules Venus which is conjunct your Midheaven.
Then Mars forms an important chart signature: Mars Moon trine Venus and sextile Mercury. A notable smaller triangle shaping your psychological profile..

Thank you so much for your words, you are very kind. And I agree, the human condition is to learn from experience and we all evolve from our pain.

Thank you! Oh and I was playing around with the orb percentages and If I go under 60 I start losing aspects. 0 would mean a perfect clean aspect and 150 a super wide one, which would mean a lighter energetic influence I assume?

Oh I know! Maybe I should've said domineering instead of dominant which implies the most dominant! I just meant if it played a major influence or not :) sorry if I misspoke but thank you for your insight!

You're very welcome. dear ravsuma

My goodness - what a life story and what you have been through and survived. This is only possible with having a very strong intense plutonian energy available for you to save your life and get out stronger than before.

My deepest respect.
