As we know, our Ascendant is the "mask" we wear to the outside world. For people who share a Scorpio Rising placement, this may very well affect our ability to make friends. In my experience I tend to be perceived as intense and stand-offish by even those who have known me for years, despite being a polite Libra. I cannot imagine how intimidated strangers or acquaintances might be when they are around me.
Could this be a reason that I have very little friends and why people keep a distance from me? I know it's not because I smell bad or look funny. The perfectionist (and Libra) in me would never allow that.
How about you? Do you have a wide range of friends, or only a couple close ones? Are people generally intimidated by you as they are by me?
