I love being a scorpio rising, I can say it balances with my pisces sun,
we are really strong!

heres an interesting thread I found about us too...I found it really really interesting and true, we are the sign of transformation or rebirth...and it talks about how when a scorpio or scorpio rising is born there is usually a death immediately in the family before or afterwards o_o I thought it was...interesting thread.

I have to say I like being a Scorpio rising too! From what I've read though we seem to get a really bad press! And I have to say I don't really identify with most of the negative aspects....I'm not vindictive or controlling or manipulative? I have a temper that can lash out suddenly & viciously and then suddenly disappear but not very often!

I do notice that people seem to be intrigued by me and sometimes I have to consciously make the effort to show warmth to people when I first meet them otherwise I can appear quite distant...if I can be bothered haha!

I'm a solar virgo, lunar scorpio, with rising scorpio. I've noticed that I unintentionally seem distant and cold to other people. Someone who doesn't want to be bothered at all, but under all of that I'm very, very emotionally involved - with everything. I just can't seem to make it obvious, I guess.

People either find me extremely interesting or very intimidating. I'm always surprised when they point that out because I don't see myself as that extraordinary because I'm your typical artsy kid that sits in the back of the class room sketching away or writing immensely in my journal.

But, don't get me wrong, I love being rising scorpio. My ability to seem intimidating wards off unworthy people - people who I don't think are great people to be around. And the whole mysterious aura around me does spark interest in other people to approach me first since I'm a rather shy and timid individual.

My sun is in scorpio (12 house). I'm so shy and I have a mercury-pluto conjuction on my scorpio ascendant.
