Okay, I belive that one of the root causes for human suffering is not hate, but ignorence. Very often when a person chooses to love something they end up hating its opposite, and this leads nowhere.

So in the interests of POSITIVE EXPANSION, I have a plan for those who are interested;

I want people to meantion things they DONT like, and to do so with an open mind.
*Il use an exaple (simese cats)
It is then up to ANYONE ELSE (even the author) to think of as many GOOD things about the thing they dont like (eg, siamese cats dont need grooming).

Please, be aware I only thought of this because of how uplifting people are in this group. It goes without saying; lets KEEP IT POSITIVE. If you want a verbal jousting match then find another group.

I will begin:

I dislike big businessess and excessive wealth. There are people starving and no one seems to take responsibility for it. Its not fair.

I have chosen to respond to myself (i dont have any freinds)

If there were no evil corperations to bring industrialisation, we would would still be 'savage'. To me, this sounds just fine. However, It is because of materialism and and greed that we have technologies available to make a better world, even if we dont use them yet. We now have the OPPERTUNITY to make a better world, an oppertunity given to us by materialism, greed, and big bisinesses.
So, thank you world bank, you bastards!

Positive stuff, ok.. They provide jobs for poor people. They are modern-day royalty, so the inner serf in all of us can feel like we're helping a noble cause. Without those guys I wouldn't have my expensive iPhone to write this message. I wouldn't have met my friends, lovers etc. Without Beverly Hills there'd be no place else in LA with clean sidewalks. Without rich folk, there'd be no one to despise. Except other bad guys.

Well then allow me to offer a different angle.
Without experiences of poverty there would be no questioning, without questioning there would be no inner-guidance, without intuitive motivation from inner-guidance there would be no interest in astrology. hahaha
I absolutely love the essence of having nothing, the smile it brings upon me when I have something is an inch wider.
I absolutely adore the age we find ourselves in (Corporate Dominance, political butchery, Terrorism & Finance), had it not have been for this age, there would be no dawn of a new age, because there would be no reason to learn our own ignorance.

Seb, i very much agree. I find it similar to dealing with saturns energies. It might not be pleasant but through suffering you can become something much greater.
You have a good understanding of how connected everything is i respect that.

I was having second thoughts as to why I even posted this thread so thanks both for the good comments.

I think there are many excellent corporations, who not only do good things for themselves, but for others as well.
Having co-owned a very successful business, I see how it's a wonderful microcosm...and a wonderful context to bring about enlightened society.
That said, I think WHAT a company is in business for is crucial.
A company can be very progressive in its operating style, yet also be a massive polluter, for example.

So, for the things I DON"T like....

spiritual imperialism

violence

injustice

pollution and those who create the worst of it

there's tons more, but that's a start.
