Planetary Returns and Retrogrades

Hello all, I really need your advice! For those that like to study planetary return charts, which chart do you hold the most of value if there is more than one return due to retrograde motion?? the first hit, the retrograde or the last hit. I have cast charts for all three and it makes it more confusing to see what's actually taking place.

All of your help will be so appreciated

From the predictive astrology books that I have read, they are all important within the time frame of those charts... So the first (forward motion) chart is valid up until the second (retrograde motion) up until the last (last pass, direct motion).

Based on that, I would also say that the last chart in the set would be valid from that point until the next return, so although things would be wobbly in the time period between all those charts (based upon the planet's energy and the overall chart themes) it will eventually smooth out and hold constant with the last chart.

Does that make sense?
