Interesting article,but I wonder who he considers people living in east? Germans,Poles,Russians.
And those subject to westerly winds? English,Dutch Portuguese?

Thank you for the article. I am actually very interested to find out how we can reverse engineering to use food eating habits to determine which planet is dignified/exalted and which one is detrimental/fall in the natal chart. Traditional western medicines have very similar principles to the traditional Chinese medicines. And natural there is a reason why we crave certain foods because of lack of balance of those elements or the planet is rather weak so therefore somehow we may consume more to retain balance.

Hippocrates would have considered those living in Germany, Poland, Russia, Holland, England, etc. to be "in the North"; the East for Hippocrates would have been toward Turkey, the Eastern Mediterranean, Persia, India, etc. Remember that Hippocrates lived in Greece during the 5th century BCE....
