Further information that will come up I will update this thread. If you spot any mystakes, note me. If you ask where did I get such information, the answer is by searching on books, internet articles and astrology softwares.

This is wonderful - all the information in one place. :) I'm printing this off and adding it to my notes. Thank you.

What about Chiron having affinity with Virgo? I seem to have read more about that than Sag! Some astrologers see both, for example Eric Francis points out Chiron as true ruler of Virgo (http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/www.cainer.com/ericfrancis/aug5.html). (page down - I can't link to the area). Personally, I can see Virgo and something else. What that something else is, i can't decide. I don't have enough experience. Perhaps someone can enlighten me, please?

take care

Hey Light:) ( ermm, your link has expired, but doesnt matter cause I visited that site before )

Indeed I was hoping someone would point that Chiron rules Virgo.

But let me explain, let's start with mythology.

" All the Myths of Chiron say he was a centaur (Half man and half horse). He was a great healer, astrologer and an oracle. Chiron rules crystals and healing and was suppose to be the teacher of heroes to help them discover their destiny.
Chiron’s pupils came to him to learn the pragmatic way to fulfill their highest potential. He taught Jason (golden fleece) how to undertake the quest, and he taught Achilles to be a sacred runner and to play the Kithara. Asclepios was taught the art of healing and thus Chiron is actually the father of Medicine and is mostly associated with ancient medicine. Chiron founded the Chironium, a healing temple on Mt. Pellius.

Why Virgo is detriment and not domicile?

Detriment means a position of a planet that doesn't fell " like home ", it fells exiled, a place that cannot use it's full potential unless it's forced.

Let's now judge the myth.

Chiron was wounded, the only way the pain would be gone is when he was healing another, after healing the pain returned. ( sounds like a virgo in pain, that's detriment and not domicile )

"Chiron gave his life for the greater good of humanity."
Virgo is the sign of self-sacrafice for the good of other ( planets in domicile in Virgo means you have the power to acieve your goals, detriment means forcing and usualy self-sacrafice )

Mythology proves Virgo is Detriment.

Now, why Pisces and Sagitaurus as ruler?

" All the Myths of Chiron say he was a centaur (Half man and half horse). He was a great healer, astrologer and an oracle. Chiron rules crystals and healing and was suppose to be the teacher of heroes to help them discover their destiny. "

Half man and half horse sounds like Sagitaurus, teacher sounds like Sagitaurus, crystals sounds like Pisces, oracle sounds like Pisces, healer sounds like both Sagitaurus and Pisces. He was unique in these talents and used hes full potential ( similar to domicile afinity )

Also in astrology Chiron reprezents God ( Sagitaurus/Pisces spiritual ), guiding principles ( Sagitaurus ), the teacher ( Sagitaurus ), religous merriage ( Sagitaurus ), divine intuition and insipiration ( Sagitaurus/Pisces ), crystals and therapies ( Pisces ) etc.

Yes Virgo is a medical sign too, it reprezents healing too, it reprezents pragmatism too... but isn't the domicile.

Astrologers should look more on hystory and mythology before making planetary qualites like dignities and debilities.

I hope that solved the mystery, corect me if i'm wrong.

but, how does Zeus, the god of thunder has its detriment in Aquarius since for me Aquarius has more to do with thunder than Leo?

I believe this goes more into the idea that Zeus is the king of the gods, and Leo the Lion is the king of the jungle and the royal sign of the zodiac.

Vesta

Dignity:
- Vesta has domicile afinity over Scorpio.
- Vesta is exalted in Aquarius.
Debility:
- Vesta is in detriment in Taurus.
- Vesta is in its fall in Leo.

I want to hear the mentality behind this. I see Vesta as a much more Earthy asteriod, being that of devotion, which seems much more Taurian than Scorpion to me. The Aquarius exhaltion/Leo fall, however, makes sense. Perhaps Ceres' should be Cancer, the mother, instead of Taurus. Not saying I don't understand the symbolism behind the Taurus idea, and I do agree with it, but perhaps Cancer would be better?

:68: You just got (most of that) from Astrolog! ..But I do agree with most of it, especially Pallas because I have a Virgo ascendant & my 15 degree Aries eight house Pallas seems stronger than my Mercury, esp. in transit.

Chiron does remind me of Sagittarius, in that I don't think it rules any sign, it doesn't seem more comfortable anywhere (except possibly uncomfortable Capricorn like you said).

Ceres is the most motherly asteroid, & also one that deals with emotion, sounds like Cancer to me, I think she rules both Taurus & Cancer & is detriment in Scorpio & Capricorn.

The Nodes don't rule any sign, but in Vedic astrology apparently they rule some of the Lunar mansions (http://astrology-x-files.com/vedic/vedicastro27.html).

Eris reminds me of Aquarius, I think her effect is "revelation of complexity," did you see the AstrologyNotes page (http://astrologynotes.com/Eris) on it? It might be too soon though..

I think Juno rules Taurus (physical/fixed parts of relationships) & is exalted in Libra (in spite of the greater affinity with Libra, Juno seems stronger in Taurus charts). Vulcan also has been associated with Taurus.

I know I'm like a year late, but oh well! What does Nibiru do anyway?

There used to be a lot more to this thread than is here...I wonder what happened to it.

It's been eight months since I've looked at this thread...what was I thinking? :D'

I had once hoped to come up with a system that connects the Quartet with Signs, but I had another idea that connected the Quartet with Triplicities instead. Ceres being better placed in the Earthy, Vesta in the Fiery, Juno in the Watery, and Pallas in the Airy.

I don't think Chiron is useful, so I'm not going to go into it.

I had heard of the Nodes ruling over Lunar mansions, but I never looked into it.

I had always thought of Eris as a planet best suited for Virgo, personally.

Better late than never. ;) Supposedly Nibiru has to do with the alien or foreign, that's all I know about interpretations, but I don't like how no one seems to agree on just where it's supposed to be, so, personally I don't even bother looking at it.

How'd you new someone wrote here?.. <_< >_>

Oh yeah! I saw one of those things too (the quartet I mean), don't know how useful it is, though. And shouldn't it be Ceres=Fire, Pallas=Earth, Juno=Air, Vesta=Water or Ceres=Water, Pallas=Air, Juno=Earth, Vesta=Fire, you know in order of the elements & their discovery? Idk, the way I see it all that prettysymmetry might not be practical.

C'mon, use Chiron! It's a useful asteroid.

Eris & Virgo? I don't see it, it seems way too malefic, unless you consider the other Eris, the beautiful, earthly, hard-worker who inadvertenly causes jealousy, that I could see.

OMG I saw this thing saying Nibiru is the base of the reptilians or something, some illuminati conspiracy theory or something like that. I'm skeptical, I'll believe that when I see some proof. I think that has to do with the scientologists.

No problem.

I'm just magic like that I guess. :D

Well, I do wonder where you got that, seems strange to me. I assume you started with Fire because of Aries being first in the Zodiac, right? It confused me why you started with that one, but that's what I thought of. I took it as what the Quartet member actually is. Ceres = physical = Earthy. Pallas = mental = Windy. Juno = emotional = Watery. Vesta = energy = Fiery.

C'mon, use Chiron! It's a useful asteroid.

Doubt it.

Eris & Virgo? I don't see it, it seems way too malefic, unless you consider the other Eris, the beautiful, earthly, hard-worker who inadvertenly causes jealousy, that I could see.

And that is precisely how I see her.

Yes, exactly. Galactic Battleship Nibiru. Rubbish. Whether it has to do with scientology or not, I don't know, but I'd be more willing to give Nibiru to the people who think Jupiter is going to just suddenly implode into a star come mid-December. People aren't even sure where Nibiru is or even if it's really there. Some people say it orbits around a red dwarf star named 'Nemesis', some say it orbits our Sun WAY out there, so far out there it takes 3500 years for it to come around. Who knows.
