Movie Pentacle Sabian Symbols

Ok, I can't find the link.. :(.... But this site showed a cool theory
of how Sabians counted 72 degrees, 5 times, describe movies/plays/books.

" He chose the degree of Cancer 23 as holding meaning for the theme of the movie.
Cancer 23 reads: The Meeting of a Study Group or Literary Society –
which seems entirely appropriate. "

(violent/action movies apply the 90 degree count rule more accurately)

I scanned the list of symbols, one caught my eye.
It reminded me of Scarlett O'Hara, doing her impassioned
"As God as my witness" speech in the field backlit by the setting sun.

20-21 deg Aquarius
A Disappointed And Disillusioned Woman Courageously Faces A Seemingly Empty Life

I decided to test this cool theory out starting on it.

2-3 deg Taurus
Natural Steps Lead To A Lawn Of Clover In Bloom
Clover, associated closely with Ireland, her father seemed like
a typical Taurus, "Land is the only thing that lasts, worth dying for".

14-15 deg Cancer
In A Sumptuous Dining Hall Guests Relax After Partaking Of A Huge Banquet
Before the war, everyone lived in the lap of luxury, the BBQ scene,
carefree & overindulgent.

26-27 deg Virgo
A Group Of Aristocratic Ladies Meet Ceremonially At A Court's Function
Reminds me of the MEN actually, they gather to boast of war sharing
cigars & brandy...The women sit nervously waiting for the men to return
from a "meeting" in Shanty town.

8-9 deg Sagittarius
A Mother Leads Her Small Child Step By Step Up A Steep Stairway
Scarlett was like a child herself, and her mother was what she aspired
to be..Calm, patient & wise. The steep stairway could be the "levels
of high society" that Rhett wanted Bonnie Blue to ascend.
And the famous staircase fall.

I'm off to do Pirates of the Caribbean...LoL ;)

Somehow after reading this I wanted to put this out there.. talk about a good movie one day!!

The Sabian symbols for GW Bush..

*Asc(8degLeo) 'A man of mean & low appearance, but with the burning fire of a great cause in his eyes, is stirring up discontent. LEAVEN.'

*Sun(14degCan) 'A very old man, whose feebleness adds strangely to his dignity, stands alone, facing the darkness in the northeast. TRADITION.'

*Moon(17degLib) 'A retired sea-captain still resplendant in his uniform, frequents the docks from which the world's commerce departs. EXCEPTION.'

How fascinating...

hi,
I`m not astrologer myself, but I`ve been interested in astrology recently and I`ve registered just to reply to this particular thread!
WHY?
1. it was posted around my solar return [I was born on Nov.8.1978.]
2. It`s about 3 of my important chart points - NN: 25,34 virgo, mercury [my chart ruler]- 6,12 sagittarius, and moon - 19,02 aquarius. all at 72/144 degrees distance.

so I`m wondering just how often such things happen?
I`ve been looking for some answers to other questions and just stumbled upon this thread! I`m quite surprised, to say the least!
Pitty you couldn`t remember the name of the movie!

Yes, that would seem to fit. And off the top of my head, there are several movies I can think of that make use of this, the 33rd star. They include

Woman on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Steel Magnolias, Fried Green Tomatoes, the First Ladies Club, and the Joy Luck Club. I think I wrote about this one. If I find the link, I'll let you know.
