Significators and non sig. conjunctions

When a significator is conjunct another planet that is not a significator, what would it mean? IE - Mars / Venus conjunction... if Mars is a significator and Venus is not ... or Moon in Aquarius conjunct Jupiter, let's say the Moon is a significator and Jupiter is not.

If the conjunction with the 'stranger' planet is interfering with the other planets making an aspect, then you have to pay attention to what (or 'who') that other planet is. Usually a close conjunction or other activity from a third planet, will be significant. It would be difficult to generalize about this because so much is dependent on what the chart and question are about.
