finally finished Cosmos and Psyche by Richard Tarnas. I would highly recommend it. he goes over the past 2500 years of western civilizations history and ties astrological transits to different epochs in our history.
a great read. took a while but worth it.

i have my one copy i can send to someone if you dont want to buy it.

Congratulations on completing the read, NicholasH. I'm about half-way through.

I agree, it is a compelling account of how major developments in western civilisation tie in with aspects between the "generational" planets. I would recommend it to anyone interested in macro-astrology.

I bought the book a couple of years ago. Its real value forme was expalining how pouter/planet conjunctions 'work' both in termas of natal, then in important transits to these, in terms of the times of the individuals he mentions operated in. He was particualry sharp on Saturn/Pluto and Uranus/Pluto qulaities, I thought.
