chart for date sent or date recieved?

Hi everyone, I'm new to electional astrology, but I want to send a letter to the owner of my building thanking him etc...in the hopes that he will offer me a good deal on rent. Honestly even if he offers me nothing I will still send the letter because I want to. But if I can make things better for me by making sure he recieves it at the right time...why not?

Question: When should I send it? I live in NY and he lives in VA. I'm also curious as to see if the chart should be drawn on the day I send or for the day he is likely to recieve it?

For important letters, prepare the chart for time you will mail it. The time you drop it in the mail is important. Make sure that there is a favorable aspect between your significator and that of the owner. Strengthen the ascendant and try to have Mercury and Moon angular and otherwise strong. It is usually impossible to have it perfect, but do the best you can and the business will go smoothly.
