Horary astrology question

This question was received on April 16, 2005, at 2:26:12 pm EED, in Tirgu Mures, Romania (46e34, 24e33). The questioner, a woman, tells that she entered about one year ago a relationship with a younger man with whom she have previously worked with.

Although intense and passionate, it was never formally consummated and they both agreed to not to pursue it as an affair. They meet infrequently, every few months, the last meeting was in March, the next would be at the end of April. At the March meeting he was was stand-offish and apparently "indifferent" and she felt hurt by this attitude as she hoped some intimacy, to be friends and maybe romance could/should happen, since her feelings for him have not gone away.

Given this situation, she asks whether he still has feelings for her and if they will continue this as a romantic relationship.

The woman asking is represented by the Sun, Ascendant ruler. Since this is relationship question, I assign the 7th house (ruled by Saturn) for the man. Mars close to the 7th cusp may be the sign that he's younger than she.

The Sun and Saturn are separating from a square, so the relationship would seem to be ending but, they are brought back in aspect by the Moon who translates the light from Saturn to the Sun. The Moon (co-ruler of the questioner) separates from a conjunction with Saturn and casts a square to the Sun. These relate to their two meetings, the March meeting was cold (Moon conjunct Saturn) but the late April meeting will be quite passionate and intense (Moon square Aries Sun). This brings them together, but as it seems, only by the means of efforts of her (the Moon squares the Sun). She is the one in an honoured, strong position (Sun in Aries, its exaltation sign), while he is quite weak (Saturn in Cancer, its detriment sign). There is no other aspect of the Moon beyond the square with the Sun, so it seems that the upcoming April meeting symbolised by this aspect will give the measure of how far this relationship can go, the querent will have got the answer and a better understanding of this relationship by then.

We can also notice in this chart Pluto on the cusp of the 5th house, a mark of her intense, passionate approach to this relationship.

She asked also about his feelings about her. Saturn receives the Sun in one of its essential dignities, in its term. It means that in his heart he is not indifferent to her, he cares about her.
