Astrology Mentorship Program

We are intiating an astrology mentorship program on the forums so that everyone interested in furthering the study of astrology (most of its branches) might do so with the assitance of an experienced professional astrologer, Gary P. Cayton (website)

Focus is on the quality of tutoring at the lowest price for overall accesibility. You will get 100 days of interactive mentorship for $100, that's as low as 1$/day.

Technical details:

Discussions with the mentor will take place in a special section of the forums, open only to students during the 100 days mentoring program. You may read the questions and the answers given to other students, with whom you may also interact just as on the main forums, so that it might be also fun, not only educational.
After the expiration of your registration period, you may rejoin at any time.

As a self taught astrologer, I have always felt that freedom to explore and play with the language of astrology is the best way to learn. Yet sometimes we need an answer or objective opinion to validate out intuitive hunches. This is why I feel the idea of Astrology coach, tutor, facilitator or guide fits and feels so much better than "teacher." In fact, this same spirit of freedom revolutionized Psychology back in the 60's through Non-directive or Person-centered therapy. The leader of this movement, Carl Rogers, also believed that learning is best done in a non-directive fashion.
As an illustration of how this works, I will relate a recent session with one of the people I am mentoring. We were looking at her friends chart and noticing the connection of the three very feminine planets: Venus, The Moon, and Neptune. Her friend is very much into feminism and approaching mid-life, so I inquired what that might mean in terms of the three pagan stages of womanhood: daughter, mother, crone. My client began by saying yes -she has finally decided to have children after much debate over it. She then had a breakthrough where she said aha! Venus is like daughter, Moon is like mother and Neptune like the Crone. I have Venus conjunct Neptune which is why I don't want to be a mother. I went straight from daughter to crone -in fact I always felt like I was born the crone! We then took this discovery of hers and applied it to several other of her female friends charts and found it to be a useful tool.

With this new program you will have at your disposal the mentorship of a professional astrologer for 100 days. I plan to offer tools, examples, and resources with which you can explore your question and then you can get back to me with your findings and we can take it to the next level. You can expect approximately 20 or so personalized resonses to your questions/ideas over the course of our 100 day interactive mentorship. Who knows what new techniques and astrological insights we will discover? I trust they will be as many and diverse as the stars in the skies.

The astrology subjects I offer my mentorship services for are as follows:natal, transits, progressions, vocational, relationship/synastry, psychological, evolutionary/spiritual, electional, mundane, and re-location. If I do not know the answer to your question I promise to be honest, but I will also try to find out. If it is outside my expertise we will have to move on to the next question.
