grand trine, myst. rect., & t-square

Hello everyone, I'm a bit confused by this chart that I've drawn up a couple days ago. My question is, "Is he interested in me?" There's this guy at the gym that I'm interested in, but I've never spoken to him, only exchanged glances, lol. I noticed him about 2-3 months ago but I wasn't attracted to him then. (So what changed? I'm not even sure about this myself, but I think it might have something to do with tr. Saturn conjuncting my natal Venus lately, which is the ruler of my DC).

But anyway, I noticed that there is a grand trine, a mystic rectangle and a t-square in this chart, which I find rather interesting, yet complicating as well. Since I don't know him, I think I should look to the 5th house, with Capricorn on the cusp. This makes him Saturn, located in my 12th...maybe only in my dreams? Lol. But he/Saturn makes a trine to me/Mercury, so this looks like a postive answer to me. Oh, Saturn is also part of a grand trine, so this looks pretty good too. But Saturn also opposes Neptune, does this mean it's a no-go?

I also heard/read that you can look to the 7th house for any romantic endeavors, so this makes him Neptune. He/Neptune sextiles me/Mercury, another positive indicator. However, there is that opposition to Saturn again. And Mercury is part of a t-square, not to mention that it is also combust...double .

And then of course, Mars represents the male and Venus the female. He/Mars is squaring me/Venus, which also is part of a t-square! (Actually, I think there are 2 t-squares in this chart.) Now the Moon also represents me the querent, and Mars is sextiling the Moon here, positive indicator...and is part of the mystic rectangle configuration...so where do I go from here?

I apologize for asking so many questions, but I'm really interested in learning horary astrology, and this place seems like a great place to discuss and learn.

Also, is it also possible to get a clue on what is going on in his mind from this chart? I think I read from someone else here on another thread that you can. Either way, I would appreciate any help on this, thank you!

Re: grand trine, myst. rect., & t-square

Hi Vash24,

Grand trines, mystic rectangles, etc. are not used in horary: those are natal astrology configurations.

In horary, all you need are the significators of the relevant houses, and the Moon: that's all. 'Stationary' aspects don't count. It's what the aspects are *doing* in horary, that counts. Are they applying? Or separating?

I would recommend ignoring outer planets and concentrating on the traditional seven planets, as well: in this case, the 7th (you picked the correct house for this question, btw ) ruler is not Neptune: it is Jupiter.

The other thing I'd pay attention to in this chart is Venus: she sits in the 7th. In horary, this almost always indicates that there is another woman on the scene. I'd bet a strong dollar that he has a girlfriend.

You, as Mercury, are combust in the 8th house: a very weak placement. There is little here you can do. He is Jupiter in fall in the 4th house, and Mercury separates from a square to Jupiter.

The Moon translates the light between Jupiter and Mercury. The Moon is your co-significator, but in this case it also represents the 11th house of your friends. It is entirely possible that a friend could 'introduce' you to him at some forthcoming point, and you could take it from there.

Cheers,
AG

Re: grand trine, myst. rect., & t-square

Thank you so much for replying archergirl! And thank you for letting me know about the 7 traditional rulers and that grand trines, etc. don't apply in horary...makes it much easier for me to decipher or understand, lol.

But about the guy...I figured he was taken because he is rather attractive, but I wasn't sure so I had to ask the question to see where I could go from there, lol. But no worries. Again, thank you for responding and giving me some tips in horary.
