A troubled person's chart...request some insights
Hi all,
Attached is the chart of someone who is very close to me. She has had a very troubled life throughout.
She is currently without a job (did not have much eduction) and has got divorced couple of years ago. She has had prolonged periods of depression and has never been out of a shell.
Needless to say, I am deeply worried about her future.
Request your insights. Is there a hope for this person in life? Would she have a vocation to pursue?
Thanks for your time...
Worriedely,
RJ

bundle chart, to rd
rd,
This person has a bundle chart, indicating they focus all their attention on a few areas in life. In this person's case, they focus their energy on using their relationships to do things for others in the outer world (most of the planets focused on the top (outer world) right (others) side of the chart). This indicates they NEED to have partnerships and will find anything they need by networking with others.
However, transiting (moving planets in the sky) Saturn (duty, also restriction, structure) is conjuncting (energy is combined with) her Descendant (others), so she feels restricted around others. She needs to work through this "restrictive" feeling, so she can begin STRUCTURING her relationships with others. Once she is able to structure her relationships, she greatly increases her chances of getting a job.
One other warning, with Moon (change) focused in the 6th house (daily work), either her daily work changes often or her feelings about her daily work changes often. She needs to make effort to focus on how things ARE rather than on how she FEELS about things.
Explaining,
Tim

Re: bundle chart, to rd
Hello RD, I certainly think that she is capable of persuing a vocation. She needs however to overcome a lack of clearness (Neptune) about herself and what she would like to do in her life. This is shown by the modern ruler of her Asc., Neptune, conjunct her MC, dignified in Sagittarius, conjunct the ruler of her 2nd house (selfworth) Mars, also conjunct the highest point in her chart.
This in itself is a very strong position. The conjunction between Mars and Neptune is quite wide, but it is ingoing, meaning that by progression Mars comes closer to Neptune, having caused the insecurities and lack of initiative resulting, in her life. By now, progressed Mars has passed that exact conjunction of course but will again square, sextile, oppose and trine that same constellation during her life and periodically bring back that insecurity about her goals and aspirations. Neptune takes a great deal of Mars's aggressive energy away and this could then show a lack of initiative. Neptune conjunct MC always gives vagueness about what a person should do in life.
Traditional ruler of her Asc. is Jupiter, and he happens to rule this Neptune/Mars conjunction and MC and is placed in her 7th. Like Tim said, she needs other people very much in her life, particularly a relationship as her Venus is also dignified in Libra there.
Unfortunately for her it is closely conjuncted by Saturn. It will give her perseverence in love relationships, but also fear of them. Venus/Saturn conjunctions show an inability to express love feelings and in the 7th, that is not really what one would like of course. It could hamper her relationships.
Also, Jupiter (showing more than one relationship usually) squares Neptune and that shows her deceptions in this field.
She has her Moon in Leo in the 6th house. Like Tim wrote, her emotional longings lie in the field of service to others and with that Neptune on the MC and trine this Moon, it is clear to me, that she could do a lot of good work in the health sector, caring for other people, like being a nurse for instance.
By having gone through emotional upheaval (Moon square Uranus, Sun, Mercury in 8) herself, she will be able to understand the pain other people have gone through. Sun and Mercury in the 8th give her a very deep understanding of what crisis situations do to people.
I think that if she could get a job in the health sector, she could find great emotional satisfaction and probably heal part of the pain she is carrying inside herself. The whole chart points towards involvement with others, but not necessarily through marriage as that area is difficult for her, but through relationships with those in need.
Her Neptune sextiles Pluto which gives her perseverance and the opportunity (sextile)to transform herself through relationships (Pluto in Libra, ruled by Venus in her 7th). She will have to overcome (squares) certain memories form the past (Moon) in order to express herself (Moon rules her 5th of selfexpression) in service to others . If this energy is used negatively it results in illness and selfdestructive tendencies.
So maybe you can try to help her understand this and point out how useful she could be to others. She had a very difficult time behind her with Pluto going over her MC, Neptune and Mars in the last couple of years and indeed now with Saturn entering her 7th, it will still be difficult for her when it comes to relate to others. On the other hand, Saturn can also form and be constructive.
I hope this helps a bit. I wish her and you all the best. Starlink

Re: A troubled person's chart...request some insights
Hi Tim and Starlink,
Thanks a lot. This is very helpful!!
I am sure you would not be surprised when I tell you that she has very recently joined a hospital as a trainee nurse. I hope and pray that she succeeds there...
Appreciatively,
RJ

Re: A troubled person's chart...request some insights
Hi RJ, I am happy to hear that she is going in the direction I think would be good for her. Keep stimulating her about this. I think she could soon feel for herself that helping sick people can give her great satisfaction.
I also wish all will be going well for her.
Cheers, Starlink
