What do you think of jyoti astrology? I'm well versed in western astrology and to me its very accurate. Does it seem like this system is more accurate? I cant help but wonder because I know it's an older system and must ring true.. But its hard for me to believe I'm a Taurus in vedic astro when I'm definitely a Leo (Simha) in Western.
I'd like to continue investigating/researching Jyoti but I'd like to hear about other experiences people have had with it. If they find it accurate.

The most important difference in my own observation is that Vedic Astrology is derived from Saints and Maharishis, and they knew this science by divine blessings.
They did not need unlike westerners to make researches and work things out, they simply knew everything.
InWestern Astrology they can always make new upgrades and add new things to cover some mess.
In Vedic Astrology the planets used are all related to the basic human energy system and each planet is related to some basic part from the human existence.
Vedic Astrology admits that all planets, stars and even comets have some degree of influence on all living things, but there are some planets who has direct influence of great power on the character traits and destiny of the people and nations.
