Re: will my operation go well?

Hi Waterlilly,

On your Horary Chart, the aspects to Mars are mostly good. The Mars - Pluto Opposition could be better. But I notice the Moon in the 6th House of Health very near the Descendant. Moon in the 6th can result in too much blood flow and possible need for additional blood during the operation.

Then I checked the Horary of the actual day for your operation - May 20, 2008 and sure enough, May 20th is one day after the Full Moon! They say you should avoid surgery around the time of the full moon because the full moon brings on more bleeding and blood loss!

I prefer to check your Progressed Chart and see what planets, if any, will be in your 6th and 1st Houses on May 20th. If you can provide your full birth details, including time, I will be happy to examine your Progressed Chart.

Re: will my operation go well?

Hi Lilly and thanks for your reply.

Hi Derestanne.

I am mostly positive about having this operation and actually feel good about it. I did look at the moon placement and apprently it will be in Aries.

I have attached my chart with progressions. Blood loss. I think I can handle. Dying on the operating table is another story.

Thanks for taking the time to respond also.

Re: will my operation go well?

Hi Waterlilly- I'm replying to your horary question:
Firstly I look at the ascendant:Gemini is rising so mercury is ruling you.Mercury is well positioned in the tenth, receiving a close sextile from the moon right on the seventh house cusp- the Doctor. I feel this indicates you are in tune with both the doctor and the treatment,as your ruler is IN the house of the treatment-H10.

i see Mars in your first opposing pluto which I believe describes the surgery as to my understanding pluto can be co-ruler of surgery and mars is also a surgery indicator, particularly as its in your first-the body.

Also mercury is conjunct Venus and they both answer to saturn who applies to a trine with pluto in the doctors hands.
The illness for which you are having surgery is indicated by the cusp of house 6 and it is Libra-so ruled by venus. Venus is closely conjunct your ruler so at this time you and the illness are one.(Chiron is right there too). The moon applies a sextile to mercury then venus then chiron then neptune (the anaesthetic?)

From the doctors point of view,he/she is ruled by jupiter which applies a sextile to uranus (also often involved in surgical/medical procedures involving high tech.)
the outcome is ruled by house 4...ruled also by mercury but Virgo-the sign we most often associate with sixth house matters-such as illnesses.Saturn is on the cusp but applying a sextile to mars in your first house...With saturn there it may take longer to recover than you are allowing for...but I see no reason to be worried...It looks quite good to me, given the debilitated planets that we currently have-At least your ruler is direct in motion!
I will take a look at the transits too-for the actual date.
All the best to you,
Waterlilly

Re: will my operation go well?

Wow!

Lilly thanks so much!

I am truly thankful for your insight into this matter. I have jumped all the hoops in waiting to get this operation and, now finally it has come around. after one and a half years

I do understand that with all the pluto transits, you never quite know if it's your turn or not. and since only earlier in the month i didn't know if i wanted to be here. I was worried that now, I had become alittle clearer, i would be called anyway! ( be careful of what you wish for and all that!)

During the eclipse of last week, My children and I practised our cosmic ordering. I did ask for evidence that my wishes and dream were being heard and, that they wouould be fulfilled within the next month or so. This last week, all the dreams have definately planted seeds and, I have had conformation on more that one situation.

I truly believe it works..

Today i have recieved many blessings.

Thanks again

Lil

What moon placement are you referring to? The Horary position on May 20th will be moon in Sagittarius.

When I examine your Natal Chart, I see that your 6th House is totally controlled by Strong-As-A-Bull Taurus and that is about as good as it gets.

Then with your secondary progressed Chart for May 20th, the Aspects are very desirable; progressed Moon, Mars, Neptune and Pluto are all well aspected and behaved for you. You will have Chiron in Aries Retrograde in your 6th House at that time and I certainly think that is typical of having necessary surgery done. Mars in Aquarius in your 4th House is saying, "bye, bye" to whatever needs to be eliminated from your constitution. Again typical of needed surgery.

I couldn't help but notice your Natal Moon - Pluto conjunction in Virgo. While you have the green light to proceed with your operation now, I urge you to take no chances with your health when Horary Saturn reaches about 28 degrees Virgo, and makes a conjunction with your Natal Moon - Pluto conjunction. That won't be for a while yet. On the positive, there is also a chance that Saturn at 28 degrees Virgo could be a life changing event for you that will have a tremendous effect on you emotionally.

This surgery is most important since i have tried everything else. It's time to say goodbye and gain some control to this particular part of my life. I am more aware now than before that it's about prevention and cure for me.

Can i ask you for a date for 28degrees saturn in Virgo please?

Thank you also for your kindness in responding to this matter.

Re: will my operation go well?

Waterlilly, due to retrograde motions etc Saturn will not reach 28 deg virgo until late 2009! So I dont think you need to worry.
cheers, Lillyjgc

Re: will my operation go well?

Waterlilly,

Lillyjgc is right about late 2009 for Saturn. I wasn't trying to add to your present concerns. When I notice something significant, I give a heads up about it even if it won't happen for a while.

Saturn will reach 28 degrees Virgo on October 12, 2009. You may start to notice the effect on your Natal Moon and Pluto a few weeks before.

Re: will my operation go well?

Hi folks,

Waterlilly (et al), For horary questions we do request that you at least give a shot at interpreting your own chart first; this is your question, your issue, and it would be of benefit for you to have some involvement in your own chart, even if you have no idea where to start. This is a learning site, not 'get your reading for free' (although it sometimes appears that way). To ask (twice) that others look at your chart without your own participation is, well, a little cheeky, as all of us are purportedly astrology students!

There is a hyperlink to the Guidelines for posting horary charts when you click on the horary section, or here: http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum...ead.php?t=8576

I would also like to suggest that we please try to stick to horary astrology on these threads and not veer off into predictive/natal transit astrology. If the querent would like to look at transits, the question should be posted in the relevant section.

The moderators on the site are attempting to streamline posts so that they stick to whatever topic is at hand; otherwise, they wendle onto strange paths that often have nothing to do with the original post.

Thanks a bunch!
Cheers,
AG

Re: will my operation go well?

Question, Waterlilly. Do you know the exact time of the surgery itself? Or are you able to pick a time?

If this is the case, you may wish to post a thread in the Electional and Event Astrology sub-forum.

Re: will my operation go well?

hey Archegirl!

I think if you were aware of how much knowledge I had in the first place, of astrology. You would consider me a Genius now...lol

I have tried to do my own chart on many occassions. I Just don't get it! That doesn't mean i haven't given it a bash before hand. As you will see above. I tried to and, even got the placement of the moon wrong. Can anyone suggest a book or some thing??

Your post was more suitable to a Pm I believe. I am a 36 year old woman. I'm not 10. In addition, i hadn't seen the thread actually.

Kaiousei: No I don't know the time but, Thank you also for your suggestion.
I'll keep trying to get it of course.

Thank you for your suggestions. Really I am happy to keep learning
