Re: 2008 Eclipses

You're quite welcome Carole. I'm hoping you and others will post observations of how the eclipse themes have repeated. I'm repeating my prenatal eclipses in August and next week's is conjunct my descendant. When this one occured in 1954 my mother would just be gaining full realization that she was pregnant for the first time, about 2 months along.

The symbols by various authors for this eclipse degree is one that is secret motives, selfishness, bitterness or jealousy, lame legs or feet, isolation from friends and family, sensitivity to cold. That's funny because I have Reynauds, living in cold Michigan. My mother's name was Miriam, meaning bitter. She became very bitter and jealous when my dad left her alone on the night of my birth to go on his first date with my furture step mom.

One says this degree is involved with air quality, gas and gasoline. With it in the 9th, perhaps there will be issues with foreign oil imports or legislation concerning that, especially as it affects home heating and industry, since the eclipse is square the IC/MC at that location. But the positive would be to make gains in the developement of alternatvie energy sources. That would fit well with Aquarius and with Saturn in Virgo which rules corn and wheat. With Neptune so close perhaps there will be a real thrust for using grain alcohol. I know all the technology is there, it only needs the demand.
