Where do my talents lie?

Hey all

Well I've been told I am quite talented, but the only thing I can tell about myself here and now is that I am majorly scared to end up in the wrong choice of career. I understand, because of my Sun, Mercury, Chiron-Uranus opposition I will need a certain freedom in whatever I do.... True, I can be rather moody. And I am generally not opposed to making any cutting remarks to authority figures if I feel they aren't pulling their own weights.. or doing their job well.

That is hugely important to me, if you do something you have got to do it right and do it entirely. I am willing to put time into anything I do but generally I attract what it is I desire like magnet.... So my only problem is choosing a particular line of work.

I see that my Moon is in House 6 of Capricorn, so, whatever I do likely I will have to consider my own state of mind and feeling because that could play a huge part in my succeeding or not. I have in the past gotten along with co-workers but I have been known to fuss from time to time... I've been asked for promotions but I generally turned them down, offering to take a raise and more responsibility but without the title. Then soon after I would leave because I was bored and started to feel like I could see where it was going and it grew a bit cyclic to me, I guess little mounds ain't shhh to a Cap Moon'r! Ha!

Well I have means to do anything I would wish for at this point in my life, I'm 22, but my main concern is career-focused. Anything that comes to mind...... I mean anything. I've been told I should be a Culinary Artist, and Artist in general, Writer, and for some time I was planning on Med School. I'm not sure if it is right for me or if my original idea of working 2 careers would be wise. I'm not sure WHERE to focus my energies, my passions are all over the map really. Any advice ???

Being that so much is in Gemini, choosing a job would be hard, I am a Gemini too and have had up to five jobs in one year, as what you termed cyclic work was boring, I also found very boring, so as it was..onto another job...
I think that maybe having your own business would be good, as you can do what you want when you want...however with this said, your free spirit can also lead you to not be as disciplined as you might otherwise be..so something to retain your own creative ability and yet still have limits would be good.
Uranus and neptune in the fifth is also very indicative of being creative...
Having venus on the MC could also give you that charm that allows you to get what you want when you want it.

Hello CB, I had a look at your chart and it is easy to see why you are so undecided about what to do. Your MC is ruled by Venus and here is where the problem lies.
Venus is first of all in detriment in Aries, secondly it is in a critical degree (29°) and Venus rules an intercepted house therefore co-rules the 3rd together with Mercury as main ruler. Your problem could be that it is hard for you to unleash your creativity which you have lots of.

Jupiter rules the 5th house of creative endeavors, self expression amongst other things and Jupiter is in Aquarius, traditionally ruled by Saturn and Jupiter widely squares it's own ruler.This could be a bit of a stumble block for you, not knowing exactly how to take the bull by the horns as it were. However, there exists a mutual reception between Jupiter and Uranus, who is the modern ruler of Aquarius which could be helpful, showing great originality in whatever you do and opportunity to do so, but it does ask for a bit of input from your side. Sextiles dont come as easy as trines.

Venus rules the arts and indeed loves to dine and wine, but I think that a culinary career is more a Moon or Cancer thing so I would just keep the cooking as a hobby.
