Not much in water here!

Hello all!
My chart does not show much in water signs!
I was reading that those that have more in air signs or fire signs need to live near mountains. I live near the mountains and I am very scared of them, heights mainly.
I have always loved water, not swimming so to speak, but watching the ocean, being near lakes rivers and ponds have always been calming and refreshing to me.
Could this be because I lack so much water I need it around me to purge and flush out stressors? I dream about being near large bodies of water. I read in Arroyo's book that one lacking water has problems with developing toxic bodies, as though the healing powers of water and how it detoxifies are missing. Is this why I love water? I dont really like swimming in water, it scares me because I dont know what is at the bottom, however just being near it is where I recieve so much to regenerate. I also love the rain, it gives me the go ahead to stay at home and relax.
Could it also be because I have a lot of earth too, and earth needs water to grow and be nourished? As you all can tell I have analyzed this to death...ha ha!

Thank you for answering! I thank you for your rationale...as I have been reading that the element of your sign indicates where you want to live...I also read that air signs like mountains....
Personally I lived in Oregon, where we had the ocean an hour or so away then the mountains 45 minutes away...totally beautiful...
It was not necessarily my choice to live here...followed a boy,n yet I guess that was my choice...mmm interesting thought to myself
I am dying to get back to water! It cleanses my soul...
I would love to live by shops and a pub, have a nice cold beer then go shopping! I cannot stand crowds either! So during the holidays I would need a drink to be able to shop...
